Many talking heads say the Chiefs and Lions are the two best teams, however.......

The Chiefs and Lions have three combined losses.......and two of those three losses were given to them by the Bills!!

To me, this is the key stat that makes Josh Allen MVP!!

Those two wins are directly attributed to JA, and if beating the so called two best teams in the league isn't enough for MVP, I don't know what would be.

Go Bills!!!

Lions have not been in that category for several weeks. I doubt they make the conference championship game. Injuries have just destroyed that team.

Chiefs are probably right there especially given they tend to get it together in the postseason. I wouldn’t say that was the case earlier this year or even earlier last year.

If I had to rank them now

1.  Kansas City

2. Philadelphia

3. Baltimore

4. Buffalo

5. Detroit

I also wouldn’t have an issue with a three way tie for 5th between all the NFC Central teams. Given the state of the Lions I would say Green Bay and the Vikings are with them.

The OPs point was not about ranking teams but showing that why Josh should be the MVP as he single handedly beat the top two teams in the league.  Go Bills !!!

I think Chiefs you still have to put 1 as they are 15-1 which is insane. (Although to your point that 1 loss to the bills)

But ya I would definitely have the bills higher than the Lions

Most likely will end 15-2 as mostly backups will be playing against Denver.

Absolutey! Just like 2004: final week of the season: Buffalo 9-6 gunning for a playoff spot. Pittsburgh 14-1 and resting their starters. Easy win for the Bills, right?! 🧐

Sean Payton versus Mike Mularkey isn't even a fair coaching comparison tho

The bills are the streakiest team in the nfl imo, it's just that JA and the O is good enough that while streaking they still only managed 3 losses, two on the D one on the O.

if we can force turnovers, we are the best team in the nfl.  we are the most game script dependent team since the manning led colts.  imo it's not really about getting a lead, we had a massive lead vs detroit late and it still kinda sorta came down to the wire, and we had bad deficits vs NE and zona, but coulda won both of those games by an additional 7 if we really wanted to.  i think its about the d finding some kind of answer and making the opponents waste downs or get penalties to get behind the sticks.  we are so bad on d on 3rd down that we basically need a turnover, penalty, or the other team to make a bad error on 3rd down to get them off the field.  that feels like a poor thing to hang your hat on, but we are 1st in fumbles lost both way, not sure if another team has done that through 16 games before.  to our credit we are the best 2nd half team by a margin, and really it seems to be the 3rd quarter.  we get ahead and just hold on, or put in the backups more than any nfl team i can remember.

that's not to say we aren't totally in need of our O balling out, it's that we are in need of that plus the d finding stops or turnovers.  if you look at our record this season, and prior seasons, we score 30+ in the vast majority of our wins.  and of those wins and our losses where we scored a lot, i think we basically have to be the first team to get 30 points to win, unless weather or something insane makes it a smash mouth type game, that's what we need in the playoffs.

The way it's going there could be a Darnold vs Allen SB 🤔 . The Vikings ain't no joke ...

the irony would be that both teams have lost four Superbowls and have never won one...what is that expression "two men enter one man leaves?'

Quite honestly watching them play I feel like they are getting better by a smidge and Detroit is actually regressing a small amount... this will be a great game between the 2 and i would not at all be surprised to see the Vikings as the 1 seed. I for one in the beginning of the year did not see that one coming... at all...

That's like the Ravens chirping 35-10.

Can't say it's the one deciding stat but surely it's a talking point. Too many to list.

Games in September are not the same as ones played in November and December.  They count the same but the weight and significances are not the same.  Neither Buffalo nor Baltimore are those teams.   This season is as good as any for Buffalo to win it.  Allen playing his best is always Buffalos best chance.  The level he can reach is not matched by any current qb imo.

Power rankings mean nothing at this point.  It's all about what happens in the Playoffs.

As Bills fans with Josh Allen at QB, this is how it should be until we win a Super Bowl.  Doesn't matter if people think we are the best team in Week 3 or Week 18 heading into the Playoffs.  It's making sure we win the last game before the offseason that matters.  Sure, the season is fun and all, but until we get this monkey off our back and win one, I will never pay attention to power rankings.

Do I think we can win the Super Bowl this season? Yes, but it will take an absolutely perfect run and our best football because there are more talented teams.  But I will forever believe we have the best QB on the planet and that he can overcome some of that lack of talent.  But, it's going to take every player on offense, and especially defense, to play their best football in the postseason.  It will also take the head coach and his staff finally making the correct decisions in crucial moments to win as well.
