Aikman played behind one of the best O lines surrounded by the best receivers, TB and TE.   Would he have been "great" playing with less?

His stats suck.  No QB has been blessed with a better situation.

NO! I have always felt he was good to very good and not great. Dan Marino was 2x the QB Aikman ever dreamed of being.

same for Peyton Manning

Watching Detroit and Goff makes me think how opposing fans view Allen and the Bills sometimes. When they are in rhythm, the ball never hits the ground, the RB gets chunks, they are so hard to stop.

Peyton would’ve succeeded anywhere. He made a lot of guys much better than they actually were

To be fair, Aikman was flawless in Super Bowl games, and those are the things the average fan remembers.

The Lions' defense is going to cost them the #1 seed at this rate.

They really have no talent left on defense.

7 seconds and a TO, didn't even try and pick and extra 5 - 7 yards.  Coaching blunder. It's surprising how bad of decisions these guys make week in and week out...

It was 4th and 5.

I like that the niners aren't lying down

I'm surprised they are even playing their starters tonight as this game doesn't mean anything to them.

They're playing for the number one seed. The Vikings are up a game on them

Airman would've been trash without all those HOFers.  He couldn't even beat Rodney Peete consecutive years.

If they lose tonight, they will get the 1 seed with a win next week as they would have the tie break on Minny.

So the result tonight doesn't make a difference
