How much longer do you think this tandem is intact and playing at an all-pro level?

 

I think Dion is elite for 3 more years personally

Spencer is 26 …and has a 4 yr extension ahead of him which should tie up with his prime years  …

 

Dion has three years left …. I’ll let Beane take stock after 2 years and decide if he still wants to pay him $20m or not when he is in his last year in 2027

Well Jason Peters has a few years left so I'm sure Dion does too.

Brown is young so he still has awhile, but hopefully another 2 seasons for Dawkins, which is when his contract will be easy to get out of and Grable will be more than ready to start.

It’s a moot point for now, they are locked up, and tackles can last awhile when they are elite.  The interior is also set so the line is not an issue I think of now that we have played this well for two years.

This is the best line in the JA era …

 

I believe that all the starters are under lock and key for 2025 …

 

The depth coming through looks to have some promise as well….some decisions will need to be made for 2026 around McGovern and Edwards who are FAs … you can’t keep everybody unfortunately, but it’s good not having any concerns in the short term ..

That made me wonder, how long has it been since you felt better about our OLine? 

 

It’s been a while for me. 

 

EDIT: That makes me feel much better about our future. Just find a mountain of a man to clog the middle of the DLine, and we are looking good.

Their ability to play at a high level doesn't really deteriorate much as they age, it's their ability to stay healthy and on the field.

Also he started the ball rolling to what eventually evolved into these new stupid kickoff rules when he was being used as a 330-pound wedge-buster coming in at 4.9 in the 40. Seemed like at least one opponent left the field with assistance while looking out of an earhole of his helmet on every return.

Love these guys but will just point out there penalties are atrocious this year.  Many are false starts.  They are both top 4 this year.  The good news is it hardly ever hurts them cause Josh always gets out of it.

Dawkins has become elite and Brown is approaching that level as well. They have just been alternately toying with and then manhandling their opposition most games.

Remember when people were freaking out about not having a center and moving McGovern from guard? And how nobody actually believed that was their actual plan even tho they came out and said it?

 

Yeah...turns out the Bills kinda knew what they were doing.

Jason Peters is obviously a Hall of famer but Dion Dawkins is 6'4 with the wingspan of a 6 ft 6 person and he has crazy athleticism he is a freak tactician

I was actually wondering if, in a couple/few years, one way to prolong Dawkins' career would be to finally kick him inside to LG. Has anyone ever proposed such a radical idea? He's not tall for a LT, and well I guess I wasn't sure how functionally long he is (arms are decent length (34.65" is above avg but not at all elite). 

 

Dawkins is probably an awesome basketball player. His agility/feet helped him register a 8.4/8.8 RAS even with questionable height and explosion at a weight (314) much lower than even his end-of-season lbs these days. Seems like a guy who maintains his nimble feet even as he adds mass and mocks the funny 320 number currently published. And we know many offensive and some defensive linemen like to maximize mass/weight (without losing too much quickness) in order to hold up in the trenches over a season. Dawkins has proven to be a durable and impressively shifty athlete at this level even with the development of a natural flack jacket (also known as a spare tire). 

 

Ideal guard candidate in his mid-to-late 30s LOL
