If the Bills had won, then KC would have needed this game and played their starters and probably won -giving us Cincy in the first round. 4 hours ago, Simon said: I was thinking along the same lines earlier. The Bills also would have been compelled to run everybody today with the #1 seed still in play and would not have been able to take a psuedo-bye like they did. And the Pats would likely be picking first overall in the draft. Which is why I was reminding people that the "must win/win-at-all-costs" mentality is more fear-driven than reason-driven. There are so many fans who think that every game is must win. As you remind us, "even the very wise cannot see all ends." 2 hours ago, Thrivefourfive said: I have no doubt a true competitor will thrive in an environment such as OP. I think the kid is a gamer. And his super great HC seems to love him. I think that’s powerful. I think Payton is no dummy. His receiver group is versatile. That Sutton is big and aggressive at the high point. The other guy is fast. I really like the way the ball comes off Bo Nix’s hand. I don’t know.. what is it?.. he plays like Billy Hoyle to me Knows exactly who he is and isn’t shy to go big. Him not getting knocked down is a major thing to me. To me it means Payton and Nix have free rein, and many many confusing DBs and a slow Milano isn’t going to stop the type of offense that’s taking Payton to the Hall of Fame Aside from your fears, do you have a prediction for the game? 2 1 Quote
Coffeesforclosers Posted yesterday at 04:52 AM Posted yesterday at 04:52 AM Steelers/Ravens is a coin toss and that line is a trap. Division Rivals meeting for the third time in the same season with a two possession spread? Noooope. Quote

Thinking we'll be able to get the win, but I think Denver will be a challenge. All playoff games are challenging. There is no gimme when the top fourteen teams are playing in the knock out stage. Every one of the playoff team has won 10 games or more Quote

Only thing I hate is that the ravens get to play the day before us. They didn’t screw the other 2 seed (eagles) like that As you know - I totally disagree that we are in any way screwed by this playoff schedule. There is only 1 game for each division that determines all of the other games for the next weekend and that is the #2 versus #7 game. The Bills are actually the beneficiary with the schedule. Based upon the 2 Saturday games - they know exactly who they will be playing and their team can get ahead of it based upon the outcomes. The winners on Sat still won’t know for sure until around 4pm on Sunday who they play. For example if Baltimore and Houston win - Baltimore may be planning on Buffalo and Houston on KC, but an upset by Denver changes the game to Baltimore/Houston. Whereas if Baltimore wins - that is the only team we can play and we can begin getting ready. We either face Baltimore or are done in that case. The extra rest is totally overblown as their game is late Saturday night and they have to travel - so basically the overall time is nearly identical. It is exactly the same schedule as last year and most likely only the division changes as we move forward as it seems to work fine as long as the stadiums are free. Quote

Bills got that slot 2019 season @ Houston The thinking must be that too many AFC South watchers will be tied up with Sunday religious services? Put that game on Saturday? 🤔 Sometimes I am guilty of overthinking the situation. 🤪 Quote
