eball Posted Sunday at 03:44 PM Posted Sunday at 03:44 PM Gotta think the Chargers are motivated to win today and go to Houston rather than Baltimore. That sets up a 3rd Steelers/Ravens matchup, and while I think Pittsburgh is trash you never know what might happen in one of those games. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m no longer “worrying” about who the Bills play, though. We’re a damn good team and will have a great opportunity to beat anyone we face. 2 1 1 Quote

He said there were multiple players who had no interest in playing another game after the end of the regular season. I suspect that’s even more true now, when the playoff checks are pretty inconsequential for a lot of guys. Fans are obsessed with their team making the post season, but players sometimes don’t feel the same way. “Some” players 2 minutes ago, eball said: Gotta think the Chargers are motivated to win today and go to Houston rather than Baltimore. I agree- But I can’t say I wouldn’t be worried about facing Burrow, Lamar and Mahomes back to back to back. that’s some incredibly bad luck Quote

I have to believe that this is only really true for players on teams who are on the fringe of the playoffs and know they don’t really have a chance to hoist the Lombardi. Teams like this year’s Dolphins — they are beaten up and know they don’t have a chance in hell. 1 Quote
TBBills Fan Posted Sunday at 04:11 PM Posted Sunday at 04:11 PM Can anyone recall a time a team lost 4 straight going into the playoffs? I cant Quote

I feel the same with the exception of Baltimore. Our D will get shredded.... again. Our only chance is that they get upset before playing Buffalo. 2 Quote

KingBoots8 Posted Sunday at 05:03 PM Posted Sunday at 05:03 PM (edited) I can see it now: the Bills will, through some wizardry and malice, would have to destroy Cinci, Baltimore, and/or KC to get to the Bowl. Cinci - Damar Hamlin makes a game-saving fumble recovery to win it for Buffalo Baltimore - MVP vs MVP. Josh continues his dominance and Amari Cooper hangs a huge game on his old division rival. Lamar lays an egg and people rejoice at how amazing he is at losing in the playoffs. They make up some award for this and just give it to him. KC - The Day of Reckoning. With less than a minute Josh takes the field. They march down the field with 13 seconds on the clock. Play action, the game clock is at 8 seconds. Josh fires one to Coleman to take the lead by 3 points. Patty comes out, looks deep, launches a ball downfield as Von Miller lays him out. Ball is in the air, and MICAH HYDE OUT OF NOWHERE PICKS IT AND ENDS THE SEASON FOR KC. ….then we go to the Bowl and demolish whoever has the misfortune of lining up in front of us. i also know seeding would likely not permit all 3 to happen. Plus I am hoping KC and Balt both lose early just for laughs Edited Sunday at 05:06 PM by KingBoots8 1 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted Sunday at 05:28 PM Posted Sunday at 05:28 PM Mostly typing for my own retention; While Bills are playing at 1:00, keep tabs on the NFC South match ups for the division also at 1:00…. Panthers vs Falcons Saints vs Bucs The 4:25 window has both of the potential AFC 7 seed games, with: Dolphins vs. Jets (Fox) Chiefs vs. Broncos (CBS) SNF IS A BIG ONE Quote

Ya im not worried either, they're coming to our house , they should be afraid. I'm glad we hopefully avoid Cincy in rd 1 but they can get it too. Quote
Steptide Posted Sunday at 05:32 PM Posted Sunday at 05:32 PM I didn't read through all the posts, but Denver losing puts Cinci in? Quote

Then said they can take it all the way if they get in. Just now, Steptide said: I didn't read through all the posts, but Denver losing puts Cinci in? Denver and miami have to lose. Both are very doable. Quote

We would: 1) Get revenge against the Bengals for the '22 Divisional Round 2) Keep our status as postseason Daddies to the Ravens ("now about that MVP conversation...") 3) Get the monkeys off our backs against the Chiefs I don't really care who we beat in the Super Bowl.
