Yeah kind of thinking the same.

Yes they play them well, though not very well 2 weeks ago.  But think if I were them, I'd rather face the Texans.  Texans like the Steelers have been tailing off as the season is ending while the Ravens are playing much better after a slow start.

If the Steelers have to play in Baltimore next weekend, I'd bet a fair sum of money that they'll be utterly blown out. I think the Ravens win that game by at least 17 points. The Steelers really need to go all out vs the Bengals. After four straight opening round playoff exits, ensuring the best situation to avoid that outcome -- i.e., playing a reeling Houston team -- should be the paramount task. They can beat Houston. In no way, shape, or form do I think they can compete with the Ravens right now regardless of past history.

Steelers fans will tell you relentlessly that they're "built" to beat the Ravens but the Steelers are in free fall mode and as much as I hate to say it, the Ravens look really darn good right now. My hope is actually that the Steelers get the 5 seed and then Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers can knock off his brother in the first round of the playoffs. Ravens at Highmark scare me more than us at Arrowhead currently. Hopefully playoff Lamar shows up

Agree, think the Texans and Tampa are the teams likely will lose their wildcard game, they may even be the one home team underdog.  NFC has a powerhouse (Vikes or Lions) going to Tampa.  AFC just has more a reeling division winner in Texans

The goal is to win the whole thing for every team. Why would the Chiefs be that eager to smit the Broncos with a rookie QB to let Joe Burrow and his MVP season and dynamic offense into the playoffs.

Burrow has proven Arrowhead isn’t that big of a deal. If the Bills do get upset, the Chiefs clearly would rather face the Broncos/Dolphins in the Divisional instead of the Bengals

Not sure what they're thinking.  They may not care at all.  Their most likely Divisional round opponent would be the Chargers/Steelers.  Not the Broncos or Fish.

The Bills are the only team that beat them this year (beat every other AFC playoff team) and have the most wins against them than any other team in Arrowhead since 2020.  It could be argued they'd want the Bengals to get in and possibly knock the Bills out.  I think the Bengals are only 1-2 there since they drafted Burrow and it took an uncharacteristic Mahomes 2nd half meltdown just to get that one win.

Im saying if the Bills lose in the first round.

if the Bills lose whoever the Bills play goes to KC in the divisional including Cincinnati

I agree. The Steelers aren’t beating anyone.

Lamar is 3-5 against the Steelers in his career.  8 TD, 9 INT

1-4 in his last 5

IMO Ravens will have a fairly tough matchup in the WC

They clearly struggle with PIT and the games are close.  Steelers can absolutely win there.

LAC....Harbaugh brothers head to head....coin toss

I really really want Baltimore to lose.   With Henry, they are a very difficult matchup for us.  Even in Buffalo.

I especially want them to lose because their fans have infiltrated every Bills post on X  bashing Allen as a "stat padder"

a complete trolling failure that has no remote basis in reality.

They know the Bengals are the only team that can beat us though.  If they want to avoid us the smart thing to do would be to beat the Broncos.

So, the most likely path for Buffalo at this point would seem to be:

Wild Card: Denver @ Buffalo

Divisonal Round: Baltimore @ Buffalo

AFC Championship: Buffalo @ KC

Super Bowl: Buffalo vs. Detroit/Philly/Minn

[Denver has the best shot currently of taking the #7 seed; Baltimore most likely wins the North for the #3 seed; I don't see the Chargers beating the Ravens in the Wild Card or Pitt/Houston beating KC in the divisional round---but then it's the playoffs, anything could happen.]

Someone should check in on Josh Rosen.   All other 2018 drafted QBs vying for a Super Bowl.

If KC beats the Broncos, they'll do it with Carson Wentz at QB.

Tampa

—beat Detroit in detroit

—tied KC on final play. They go for 2 they could have won. KC got ball and got a TD

—they  lost by 10 to Baltimore. They had 2 trips inside the 10 and only come away with 3 and on a different drive missed a FG was the difference

—they beat Washington and Philadelphia

— there only bad game was hosting denver and losing, others were one score games , ATL beat them in OT, SF beat them on FG at 0:00

I never questioned that Tampa Bay is a good team.

I'm asking how "they're going to shock the world."

What specifically do people envision them doing?

I mean, yeah they're gonna win a weak division with a tame record but they have also beaten both the Lions and Eagles this year, and took KC to OT

the Bucs are the exact opposite of the Chiefs.

They are just as good on the field this year but none of the luck went their way, unlike the Chiefs.

In reality, I do not think the Bucs can do anything without the horseshoe shoved up their rectum like the Chiefs have - but they are not a push over.
