Is tonight's game meaningless for the Lions?  Even if they lose, can't they still get the one seed the following week if they beat the Vikings?

Mostly meaningless. Next week's game with the Vikings is for the division either way. The only difference is, if the Lions lose tonight a tie next week goes to the Vikings. But if the Lions win tonight a tie next week goes to the Lions.

Bring those nancies to the WNY tundra.

I agree.  This week is essentially a bye. And then Dolphins in January in Buffalo?  Arguably another week off.

Virg, it’s weird as next week matters more than this week.  Seems backwards.  It’s actually a game worth watching next week.

Didn't know the fins were still alive

A fins win keeps the Bengals out. Even having grown up in the 70's, I'll allow it.

But the Donkoes beating the Kansas City Refs means they're heading to OP no matter what Miami does.

You left out one other thing up for grabs.  If Pitt loses and Changers win, Chargers move up to 5 seed and go to Houston and Pitt drops to 6th and plays Ravens, so I'd imagine Steelers are motivated to win Saturday too  Denver also could be tied with Steelers, not sure who wins tiebreaker there or could Steelers drop to 7th?  Don't think so, think the lowest Steelers can go is 6th??

I just think it's great that so many playoff teams still have something to play for in week 18. Even the 14-2 Lions and Vikings don't get a break - the have to freaking play each other for the #1 seed, land the loser drops to #5 - I love it.

Only Buffalo, KC, Houston, and Philly are guaranteed rest for their starters. Here's hoping for some brutal physical games for the rest of the bracket!

Eliminate the Bengals.

Having to likely defeat Lamar & Mahomes is more than enough.

Burrow is playing at a higher level than both of them

Bengals would need a lot of help to get in. They have to win and both teams in front of them have to lose.

If all 3 teams lose, Broncos get in.

I think the Chargers might be able to give the Ravens a run for their money...
