ketchup and mustard to the face  LOL

The Bills need a Bills Mafia wall of fame some where in the new stadium for guys like Pancho, & Pinto Ron, and all the other Bills Mafia that bring that extra something to the Bills Mafia and that will always be part of the Bills Family !!

for 100% accuracy, it's was his 500th STRAIGHT game, home and away, regular season and playoffs, non-Covid-restricted.

He's been to more than 500 games total.  The streak started in '94

That is amazing and congrats to Ken.  Kudos also to the fans who have had season tix since the Rockpile days or the early days of Rich Stadium(lot of bad years), and not as much for those with cute game day getups or coming up with an obnoxious moniker for the fanbase.

You mean the “obnoxious moniker” that started as a joke but became beloved by fans and players alike, and has resulted not only in international recognition for our Bills and their fans but countless acts of charity and good will?

That obnoxious moniker?

You’re a fun guy.

Pinto Ron has to be the most famous Bills “super fan” right?  I know there’s others like Bills Elvis, the Cooks, Brother Bill and Del Reid, but I think Ron has to be #1.

Also, that Pinto Ron tailgate crew is such an oddity.  You have Pinto who drives a beater, cooks on the engine, drinks bowling ball shots and of course the ketchup/mustard ceremony.

Then there is Pizza Pete who cooks pizza out of an old filing cabinet.

Where did these guys come from?

Seriously though, odd or not, 500 games is quite the accomplishment.

Del Reid lol

I wore my Bills Mafia t-shirt to the SF area when I visited friends in 2022. They were asking me what it meant.  I said being a bills fan is like joining the Mafia.Once you join you can never quit.

How is he not a super fan?  He’s the dude who coined the term “Bills Mafia” out of fandom.

I dont think coining a terrible fan nickname makes one a super fan.

Nor does profiting of Bills fans.

I was lucky enough to meet Ken twice in London over the Jags game weekend. An absolute pleasure to chat to and listen to his stories

He said he only does the ketchup for home games these days, not away, as he can arrange a cleanup.

I think that statement shows that you don’t know anything at all about Del Reid.

Is that true? I thought a stoned 13 year old came up with that. And it just caught on with the drunks tailgating.

edit: in his defense, he might have been stoned and 13 years old.

Nope… it was Del Reid and two other Bills fans.  The three fans went after Adam Schefter on Twitter after he posted posted an old news story about Stevie Johnson’s famous drop versus Pittsburgh.

These three and other Bills fans spammed Schefty in defense of Stevie using the hashtag #BillsMafia.

It caught on Twitter with fans and players referring to the fan base by that name.

Reid copyrighted the name and monetized through his T-shirt business 26 Shirts.  I believe he transferred ownership to the Bills org a few years ago.
