Or honestly just laughed out of here. This is the internet and trolls are gonna troll, but that one would be incredibly weak sauce.

I would prefer Denver, but I am resigned to the fact that it will be Cincy. They aren’t losing. And Denver and Miami both seemed primed to choke.

Why?

KC is playing backups mostly against Denver and the Fins are playing the Jets.

Cincy needs both of them to lose to get in and they need to win, which is no given against Pittsburgh.

Too bad Indy lost or they would have needed the Colts to lose also.

Give us Nix and his issues with gripping the ball in that early wet game (was it @ Jets in week 4?). His hands aren't small by NFL standards, but that particular afternoon (rainy af but not cold or very windy) he looked like a kid who couldn't grip the ball with one hand. I wonder if the projected wildcard round weather in OP could significantly limit the Broncos passing attack? teens or very low 20s temps + moderate winds + maybe some lake effect activity = Nix being physically reduced?

We already know our guy (despite his literally cold feet) can perform in some of the most extreme weather conditions.

Anyone?

It doesn't matter.  There isn't a team in the NFL we cant beat.

Kermit, Lamar, the Backstreet Boy with the cigar habit, who cares? It's not like the NFL is going to let us play the 90s Lions four times in a row.

Get it done, let them worry about us.

Although I agree with you 100% and always say the same thing when the playoffs roll around...it's completely understandable people don't want to see us have to go through a gauntlet of Cincy, Baltimore and then Kansas City at Arrowhead.  Especially when the Chiefs path is going to be BYE, either Pitt/Houston and then home for AFCCG

With that said I think it's highly unlikely Cincy sneaks in

I don’t want anything to do with cincy. I’m almost certain it’ll be them.

Most Bills fans don’t , but you can probably not sweat it. KC remembers Burrow and Co winning AFCCG at Arrowhead a few years back. They’re in position to essentially decide who gets in. They won’t go all out to beat the Broncos and let Cincy in the tournament.  If the Broncos puke on their shoes, Miami is in with a win regardless of what the Bengals do. The Steelers would probably like to face Houston in the WC round instead of Baltimore, so they will be motivated too. The Bengals fought back this season, but will most likely be watching the playoffs from the couch.

Tua might be out this week, and I don’t have a lot of faith in the dolphins in a must-win game. I can see KC’s backups going out there and making this a close one against Denver, who I think will probably be playing pretty tight.

hope I am wrong, of course!

Denver has a bunch of guys who can get to the QB.  They lead the league in sacks by a wide margin, and they’ve got an elite CB on the back end.  I’m not a fan of Payton’s, but he’s got postseason experience as well.  They’re no joke.

I've been thinking about this. What good is an elite cornerback when the Bills offense doesn't have a 1,000-yard receiver? Are they going to play man-to-man all the time so their elite cornerback can shut down Khalil Shakir? And while they're playing man-to-man, are they going to let Josh Allen run all over their defensive backfield? Or are they going to play zone? If they play zone, what good is an elite cornerback?

I could see it, but I don’t think KC wants the Bengals in the playoffs. Why let a top QB in when you can rest everyone and get a rookie QB in there?

I think the Dolphins are the weakest of the three teams in contention.

The Bengals have a high powered offense that is on a historic pace and our defense will have difficulty with keeping them contained

The Broncos have a top defense and are also experienced playing in the cold weather.  They are also coached by a Super Bowl winning coach.

The Dolphins are in a disarray with health question marks against Tua and Waddle - two of their top talent on the offense.  Their defense has been average.  Finally, they do not enjoy playing in the cold weather.

Looking at all aspects, we should be rooting for the Dolphins to win and the Broncos to lose.

No way KC risks going Burrow then Lamar when they can dictate going Russel Wilson then well whoever.

This makes a huge assumption that KC believes that Burrow will go to Orchard Park and beat the Bills.   You are a sad Bills fan !!!  Go Bills !!!

If Denver or Bengals make the playoffs, they have to first get past the Bills...  I don't believe KC is going to assume that either of those two teams will go to Buffalo and beat the Bills...

The Chiefs are going to be prepared for Baltimore to be coming to Orchard park first.

Well... What is your answer to your own question?🤔

I picked Denver. While I’d be really surprised if Miami beat the Bills here, playing a team 3 times makes me hesitate a little. The Bengals are WAY down the list for me. I’d be really nervous about the Bills defense stopping Burrow. The Bills would score their points but I’m not looking for another playoff game where I hope that the Bills have the ball last to win.
