Who do you want in round 1?

I like the Bills chances better against the Chiefs in KC in the AFCCG than I do against either Bengals in WC or Ravens.   We'll be playing Baltimore no matter what in the divisional round unfortunately and I don't know how on earth our D is gonna stop Lamar or Derrick Henry.   Just gotta pray the offense can outscore them like they did Detroit I guess.

The Jets did quit, but not until the game was out of hand.

I kind of miss the days when teams would totally, completely quit. Now everyone knows he's fighting for a future NFL job and that video is everywhere, and teams just plain giving up seems kind of a rarity. See Giants yesterday, and Jets in the first half.

Give me Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs.  I think they are better than all of em.  Go win it all and beat the best qbs on the way.  No easy pass to the super bowl.  Bring Lambardi to Buffalo and make Allen the unquestioned best player in the league.

True. Only if the Ravens and Chiefs somehow get knocked out early do we avoid the hard way.

Agreed. Even setting the rivalry aside, the Steelers match up well with the Ravens. Unlike the Bills ...

Can the Steelers still fall to 6. I thought they were locked into the 4 - 5 matchup with the Texans.

Having Milano, Johnson, Benard and Rapp for a whole game changes things greatly.  A third of the defense way out.  Cooper and Coleman present match up issues for their secondary.  Offensively, they are more balanced now than in September.

I picked the Bengals as the 1st round opponent I most want to see and here's the reasons:

 

*  Payton scares me as a coach with a lot of playoff experience and the Broncos have a good running game.

 

*  I don't like the idea of having to beat a team THREE times in one season which is what we would need if the Dolphins make it.

 

*  The injury to the starting Bengal's RB (high ankle sprain) might seriously diminish an already weak running game.  The weather is likely to make putting up huge numbers through the air difficult.  Cincy has a bad D which should allow the Bills O to score a lot of points and control the clock as well.

 

*  Finally beating the Bengal's would be the most satisfying win against potential wildcard opponents.  I also think Cincy is the team the Bills are most likely to bring their A game against and not look past to Baltimore.

If the Steelers lose and chargers win, then I believe Steelers get the 6.

Payton has made some weird in-game decisions. But I will say (as a Colorado guy who has seen all their games except when they conflict with the Bills) that they are generally well coached this year, in that they're prepared, not subject to stupid penalties, etc. They don't often beat themselves, even with a rookie QB.

I want to go through everyone of the best teams in order to get there. Bengals round 1, Ravens round 2 and Chiefs to get us to the SB and then a victory over Detroit/Minny or whoever the best NFC team is.

I don't want any team that can embarrass us in our own stadium, coming in as a super wildcard team. The team that i know can do that is Cincy, followed by Miami. If Cincy comes to town, i personally believe would be Mcdermott's last game as our head coach. He has no answers for offenses that are potent, which is why I do not feel we make it very far with his defense this year.

I'd be salty playing the bengals not for the fact they gave bills problems in the past but the fact bills clinched a spot at week 13 while they sleep walked the entire season and manage to sneak in the final day

I was pulling for Bengals over Broncos because I wanted to see Colts sneak in as #7 seed. Oops.  Now I want to see Bengals beat Steelers to put Chargers in as #5 seed (I think Chargers have best shot at beating Chiefs in Divisional Round).  I think I’ll get my wish on Saturday but if Broncos and Dolphins lose on Sunday, yikes.  Want no part of Burroww under any circumstances.

Not at all. We beat them by 3 points on a last second FG last game. We beat them (barely) in the last playoff game and they had a backup QB playing the whole game. We beat them by 3 last year in the final game of season for all the marbles. They beat us in the "heat" game. Just a few of our recent matchups. We killed them in week 2 or 3 this year though... but NO - they will give us fits.

 

Want nothing to do with bengals or Miami. Our D does not match up with either.

 

I bet KC plays hard to beat Denver and we get Bengals. UGH
