I'm thrilled that the deck is stacked against Cincinnati. Doesn't really matter to me if it's the Broncos or the Dolphins. But I want nothing to do with the Bengals. They've gotten too hot and the Burrow to Higgins and Chase connection has looked terrifying. Thankfully, they fumbled the ball so hard earlier in the year that they're in this position. The Broncos have to lose to the Chiefs Backups - I favor the Broncos The Dolphins have to lose to the hapless Jets - I favor the Dolphins even with Huntley The Bengals have to beat the Steelers who aren't sitting their starters - tough game for the Bengals 2 Quote
DefenseWins Posted Friday at 10:18 PM Posted Friday at 10:18 PM So assuming Denver Loses to KC should Bills fans be cheering for the Dolphins to beat the Jets? 1 Quote

Yes, cheer for the Broncos to beat the Chiefs. If that doesn't happen, hope the Dolphins have beaten the Jets (both games are at 4:25). If the Broncos lose to the Chiefs and the Dolphins lose to the Jets - cheer for the Steelers to beat the Bengals in the Sunday Night game. Even if the Broncos lose and the Dolphins lose, the Bengals still have to win. If the Dolphins and the Bengals lose, the Broncos still get in even with a loss. If we draw MIA, I dont think it does us any good getting whatever dead Fish is their backup. Part of me thinks a tough first rd team, might just be what the doctor ordered for a long term playoff run.... think: if youre trying to bench 500lbs for the first time, do you want to warm up with the bar only, and then try 500 next rep (omg its heavvvviiii)... or you slap one plate on each side, hit 135 once.... then 225..... 315 and then its go time. I get the idea of wanting to be as fresh as possible walking into a tougher rd 2 or rd 3 game. maybe though, we need to struggle, stretch the legs up, build some confidence going into rd 2 1 Quote

I think there is something to a tough battle to get our playoff legs. for example, not a coincidence that we played our best game against the Lions the week after that very tough Rams game. Quote
Success Posted Friday at 11:04 PM Posted Friday at 11:04 PM I'm truly just excited that the playoffs are here, and we're one of the faves. After the drought, you can pinch me on that alone. 5 Quote

Sierra Foothills Posted Saturday at 02:54 AM Posted Saturday at 02:54 AM Who do I want in round 1? We desperately need a wrecking ball or two on the D-line. On the other hand you can never have enough good pass rushers and with a QB like Josh, I'd also be on board with a high-ceiling wide receiver. It really depends on who's available when we pick. 1 Quote

Yup, been saying all week there is no way they are letting Cincinnati even have a sniff of a possibility. They will gladly play a weak team in the divisional and then worry about Buffalo or Baltimore in the Championship game. Quote

Or the Giants. Certainly not the Bills. The Chiefs have a bye week. The next best thing is for the #2 seed to have a relative cream puff. No team has their chances of success increased by facing the maximum most difficult gauntlet. Quote

I'm actually curious if KC would have went all out and played their starters if they were still undefeated and tried to get that record. I'm thinking they would since they have the bye anyways. I may be in the minority, but I want nothing to do with Miami either. (That is if Tua plays) It is hard to beat a team 3 times in the same season, and last time the dolphins played the Bills, they really should have won as they outplayed them in pretty much every stat. 1 Quote
