I picked the Bengals as the 1st round opponent I most want to see and here's the reasons:

*  Payton scares me as a coach with a lot of playoff experience and the Broncos have a good running game.

*  I don't like the idea of having to beat a team THREE times in one season which is what we would need if the Dolphins make it.

The injury to the starting Bengal's RB (high ankle sprain) might seriously diminish an already weak running game.  The weather is likely to make putting up huge numbers through the air difficult.  Cincy has a bad D which should allow the Bills O to score a lot of points and control the clock as well.

*  Finally beating the Bengal's would be the most satisfying win against potential wildcard opponents.  I also think Cincy is the team the Bills are most likely to bring their A game against and not look past to Baltimore.

Great point regarding the RB injury yesterday. He was the sole RB yesterday and played a great game until he went down. Is it a long term injury? Because as you have mentioned this is a BIG point.

This isn’t a question as to who you think it will be. It’s a question of who you want it to be.

I voted the Bengals because I'm superstitious and voting the Broncos felt like bad juju if we drew them and lost.

Denver has the weakest QB and the weakest receivers. Easiest ride for the Bills' defense.

All I really want is for Denver or Miami to keep the Bengals out.

Bengals are a dangerous team right now. They’re a long shot because they crapped all over themselves in September. With Burrow, Brown, Chase, Higgins and Gesicki, they can beat anyone. Too bad the lowly Dolphins play the Jets, who have checked out mentally. No sympathy for Cinci though.

Anybody but the Bengals.  I don’t want to see this defense try and slow down Burrow and I couldnt stomach another loss to Burrow at home in the playoffs.  A gauntlet of Burrow, Lamar, and Mahomes in each round with our defense sounds daunting to say the least

I don't understand the Miami fear. Haven't we shown consistently that we know how to beat them, usually by a lot?

They're due to clip us sooner or later. Tough to beat the same team three times in one season.

The Fish are an interesting matchup only because they know us so well and they have skill players (Achane, Hill, Jonnu) who could give us problems…but we are also so much in their heads it’s funny, and Josh owns them.  I wouldn’t fear this game.

The Broncos are a tough team but after watching them a little bit the past couple of weeks they just don’t scare me.

I’ve said previously I want no part of the Bengals.  We’d have to win a shootout and while that’s certainly possible with Josh, the nervousness level would be very, very high.

I think I “want” the Broncos, based almost solely on the rookie QB factor in his first playoff game.

On one hand it’s tough to beat any team 3x in a season.  On another Miami are pretty banged up on offense at QB and both WR’s and still have a subpar OL.

I’m not scared of Cincinnati.  It probably would be a shootout type of game but there’s a reason that team has lost 8 games this season.

Denver’s defense is pretty good and you know that Sean Payton is going to do everything to punish the Bills defense in the run game like other good OC’s before him.

Nix is a bit of a wildcard.  It seems that Payton is trying to calling easy button plays to minimize potential mistakes, but then he’ll make those money long TD throws downfield.

Not sure what to make of him yet, as I do feel a part of his success is due to Payton, but he has some really nice looking plays this season

I preface this to say I don’t want this scenario, but….

Wouldnt it be wild if we beat Burrow, then Lamar, then Mahomes?

And then lost to Mayfield

I feel nix has reached his goal in the playoffs. Losing won’t hurt him or his reputation

but burrow isn’t going to be happy without a ring, that makes him dangerous

I’m sick of hearing about the freaking Bengals. Give me them so we can pound them into submission otherwise, if the Bengals don’t make it and we win the Super Bowl, you’ll hear posters saying how lucky we were we didn’t face them.

I cannot emphasize how much I wouldn't care what random NFL fanbases say about how we won the Superbowl.

I don't care if we play the little rascals.

I don’t get the impression that Chiefs fans are shaking in their boots to face Cincinnati in the playoffs.  Bills fans shouldn’t be either.

It would be wild, and somewhat unlikely so that’s why I’d like to see the Bengals miss the postseason.

Denver is the best team in that group by a significant margin.

Better than the Bengals?

Is Denver's defense the reason?

Broncos Rookie qb with Payton designing the game plan.

Bengals high powered offense and the defense that will play better in playoffs with refs not so eager to throw flags compared to regular season.

Dolphins team who has been close to beating us couple times but is banged up at qb and wr.

I would take the  Broncos with a rookie qb and his first playoff game.
