I’m writing this here. Not sure where else it’d go. Today (yesterday..I’m not letting it go, yet..) Sunday, Dec 28 was a day, man. Told wife that it’s this day — and our wedding evening. The Best.

First Bills Game. (*****.. I forgot to get a certificate,, but the way this trip has gone, the front office has mine in the mail 😍

We’re not from around here. Wife and I. But She’s in love and talking retirement to this area. No *****. Where we live.. it’s the place you surf and ski in the same day,, but we don’t do that, so we’re good. Will I make a triumphant return to my homeland of the Tonawandas to round out my life. Things come back around - around here.

Game Day. My in-person Bills record is 0’fer. Across one, two, three, four west coast stadiums, not all in one state either. So.  At my age, today kinda needed to happen. The loss column might be double digits. I have a few stories you’d all just love. Misery. Raiders.. Coliseum. 1992(?) Anyone..? Yeah. Go NWA. Apparently.

Today, We geared up for four hours in a shower. Not a drop at the game. I didn’t want to leave the stadium. At the end I sat there and replayed all the special moments that I’ve watched on tv over the years. There’s the comeback touchdowns. Jesus. I know the end zones. There’s that 41-3 halftime AFCCG. Wow. It was a special special thing for me to get that opportunity. So I thank everything.

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was A+. I screamed and swore, all with love, and everyone around let me. I would have shut right up if anyone said a word.  I let it out today, and so did she, and we were met with nothing but laughs and great conversations, and patiently loving tolerance. We thank you.

You really have something special here. Now. Before it’s gone. Then, a new chapter in the book. There is a high school feel to the entire city/area/team/stadium/QB. Game means something here. My wife, born and raised in sunny Southern California, and after one day she wants to live here. You win.

Hey, the quarterback——my God. The Glorious Josh Allen. He should be the one to win it all with the old stadium, and enjoy the victory lap over hurt and heartache and undeniable glory, and then go get more in Stadium #3 (“Big Three”……!!!!!…???? we got a name yet for the new place??? ))

Anyways, the game was PERFECT. Prohibition- PERFECT. It’s older smaller brother across the road- PERFECT (better inside🤓). If we met you today/tonight, we chatted it the hell up for an hour or so. I enjoyed the ***** out of it.

3:42am and I still hear the screaming. BUFF-A-LO! Go Bils (I love that we’ve dropped an L ..(have we?!?)) All of it. But, sleep time. Delirimonium. Bye.

THANK YOU BUFFALO

THANK YOU BILLS

THANK YOU EVERYONE

Dude what a great time, it was a nice way to close out the regular season at home.

The stadium is obviously rough, and now instead of showing replays they just post a giant Fanduel banner on the old big screen, I think Pegulas 12 year old grandkid is running the AV program over there.   And no flyover again after the national anthem, somehow they can't seem to coordinate that one either.  Once in awhile they figure it out.   Bathrooms, food, its definitely the worst stadium in the NFL but I still love it just for all the memories we've had there and what it represents.

And despite all of that, all you need is a friendly fan base, great qb and some defensive action and its a fkin blast every time, rain or shine, warm or cold.

I think I'll wait for the new stadium to make my own triumphant return. 😀

After reading this sentence, so much promise for a Penthouse Forum like story.  What a disappointment.

Bad AV, flyover, food etc. I really don’t like that this $2B firm is run by operations amateurs really. Maybe that’s what Terry has in mind with helping bringing extra owners.

I mean, listen to some of the Bills Operations people and you realize they’re not the A team for any $2B organization. pals, townies, friends and buddies program of employment. I’m sure they are good but they’re not hired as A team.

Wait. Isn’t the proper right of passage is going to a rainy 2 win season, at end of season for spoiler role only? This guy cheats to 2024 first game!

Yah that's what i thought my first game ever was in the snow at the highest section of the stadium and i got my wallet picked going to the restroom as a 11 year old ! It was fun but i've never been right since . 😂

You never forget your first home game, and glad it was a Big Win! Defense came to play, and 40 for Offense, to wrap up 2 seed makes it even more special

My first home game was also against the Jets.  It was the early 1980s and the Bills were terrible.  It was a Monday night game.  The play of the Bills was pitiful and fans got surly.  There were fights breaking out all over the stadium and angry fans with full cups of beer were flinging them all over.  The spirals looked like little galaxies of beer.  It was memorable all right.

I just didn’t have the opportunity 🫢 But you’re right - my Peterman game was in Carson, CA. So the only bad thing was the Bills. LA Chargers fans in a soccer stadium. Sure, I wore my real Marc Levy seater. But the glorious retro re-do is AWESOME

Congratulations brother! There’s nothing like seeing your beloved team at their own stadium to share the passion you and everyone attending brings!

Nothing like the Ralph/Rich. Glad you managed to take that in before the big move.

Hopefully this is the first of very many for you going forward!
