Am I missing something? There’s zero chance the Ravens are losing to Cleveland. They’re an 18 point favorite! Unheard of in the NFL. Why do we care how many days rest they have? The Bills aren’t playing them in the opening round.

This whole thread is a massive circle jerk.  You are missing nothing.

WTF!  Ravens -Browns play Saturday afternoon; Bengals - Steelers play Saturday night.  I thought the NFL avoids this kind of thing. If Ravens win (they will), Steelers rest everyone and give game to Bengals. Sorry if someone else posted this already but really WTF!

More about downstream rest advantage, which is the exaggerated advantage the #1 seed gets? So the #3 seed is potentially gaining a rest advantage OVER the #2 seed in the playoffs, when that's contrary to seeding advantage.

Bills are probably going to play the WC Saturday at 4:30, since Denver is the least attractive of teams ratings-wise. Baltimore will play Sunday. So the Bills gets one more day rest for the divisional matchup.

Regardless, with Saturday games Week 18; games Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for the WC; and Saturday and Sunday for the divisionals, it won't be perfect. That is just the way it is. The Bills have had so many scheduling breaks the last two seasons anyway.

Everyone knows what a joke Cleve is.  It doesn't matter.  Balt is beating the crap out of Cleve.

True but still why not schedule games at same time Sunday?  There were other games that could have been scheduled Saturday.

In terms of the playoffs, for the Bills purposes, I would rather have Pitt - Ravens round one.  I think Pitt has a better chance to beat Balt than LAC.

Russell makes one fumble that turned that entire game around.  Without that mistake and Pickens playing, Pitt could have easily beat them.

Even if Baltimore wins, the steelers will still be playing for the #5 seed. So instead of facing Baltimore in the first round they can face the Texans. That's a massive difference and I don't expect the steelers to sit anyone.

Yep, and not to mention they don't want to lose 4 in a row.  Tomlin will see to that.

I just hope the Bills WC game isn't the one that is selected for Prime. I don't have Prime so it will be off to the bar. No way I would miss a Bills playoff game.

Pittsburgh will do everything they can against Cincy to avoid the Ravens in the WC; they want the Texans (who doesn't?). Their reward if they beat Houston? The Chiefs, most likely.

They will play on Saturday wild card weekend which will give them an extra day to prepare for us

I think it's free on Twitch. And it will be shown on free TV in Buffalo.

I believe BAL will play the WC on Sun. and the Bills Sat., since Denver is the least attractive team, ratings-wise.

I can't see the Broncos and Dolphins both losing to allow Cincy to sneak into the playoffs. The Bengals Steelers game at this point isn't a vital matchup unless the Ravens, Broncos and Dolphins all lose.

Steelers still must win to avoid the 6th seed and get 5.

Week 18 is going to be amazing...so many storylines...

Baltimore and Pittsburgh  playing for the 3rd seed

Denver going into KC to get the #7 seed.

Dolphins trying to beat the Jets and hoping for a miracle in mile high city

Who is going to work hard to lose their final game...Giants or the Patriots with the Patriots controlling their destiny to land the top pick in the 2025 draft.

And closing out the regular season on SNF where the Lions and Vikings will fight for the #1 seed or the #6 seed;  somewhat similar to what the Bills and Dolphins went through last season in the final week.

Exciting week 18 is on the cards.  Go Bills !!!

I'm excited! (It will be a little easier for Denver though, since they actually host KC; it's going to be wild there. I am rooting for them.)

Nope. The Saturday 4:30 game always goes to the home AFC South winner. It always has. It will be either the Steelers or Chargers going to Houston
