I'm gonna say it right now,to win that schedule,we will need more separation from receivers, and at least 1-2 massive 1 tech.  I would upgrade LB as well

With this horrible defensive scheme you need to bolster the DL.  Need better DTs, a legit 1 tech, and a DE / DT that can consistently get to the QB.

My go all in strategy:

1 FA target (like everyone else’s) has to be Tee Higgins, break the bank to get him!  Let Cooper walk, don’t resign a single Defensive FA (none deserve it) dump Miller as well.  Restructure Josh, cut Bass, and trade for Jeff Simmons.  Maybe try to get Kalil Mack (situational pass rusher) and/or Bobby Wagner (ageless wonder) to chase a SB on 1 years cheap deals.  Get a decent veteran safety from the bargain bin.

Draft..prioritize CB, DL, LB, OL and grab a kicker to replace Bass.

NOT CORRECT

BUF at PHilly  next year using the same formula

17 game format playing alternating nfc placement game

2021 host east

2022 at west

2023 host south

2024 at north

2026 at east

2027 host west

2028 at south

2029 host north

over %8 years, 2 full division meetings of home and road, and H and R against each placement games

this balances it out just like with placement games in afc

2021 all south, north, at west

2022 all north, south at west,

2023 all west , south, at north

2024 all south, west, at north

2025 all north, west at south

2026 all west , north, at south

2027-2032 cycle would repeat

over 6 years you have 2 full divisions( H and R) , 2H and 2R placement

if/ when they go to 18 games they could change things around placement games

You are incorrect.

All four of our marquee games next year are at home: KC, Baltimore, Cincy and Philadelphia. The Bills do not lose many regular season home games. Best home record in the NFL since 2021 I believe. Running the table on those 4 might be tricky but could easily see us go 3-1 or worst 2-2.

One of the easiest road slates you will see.

With the usual caveat of Josh staying healthy that should be a look at the #1 seed.

Were sure to lose a home game to Europe unfortunately

I doubt it. Other than Jax I don't think a team has given up 2 homes in 3 seasons specially since they went to the 9/8 split where it meant losing the advantage of the extra home game twice in a row.

We know the NFL likes to make the Bills an "experiment" but I doubt by that much.

When does the actual schedule get released?

Was thinking of going to the US next year for my first Bills game before the Rich resembles the Rockpile.

Right around draft time. So book your rooms for Buffalo now.

Home:

New England

Baltimore

Kansas City

Cincinnati

New Orleans

Philadelphia

Tampa Bay

Away

Cleveland

Houston

Pittsburgh

Carolina

Atlanta

Looking at that home schedule I say Bills fans better get ready to be spending a lot of time at the stadium at night. There are a lot of teams on the home schedule that make for a good primetime game.

When the Bills play in Atlanta it’s gonna feel like a neutral site!

Hoping since this is the last season in the current stadium, the NFL doesn’t force the Bills to play out of the country. If they do, assuming Saints or Tampa are the odds on favorite.

I could be wrong but I don't think the nature of the 17th game has been finalized as of yet. No guarantee that it will be Philly.

No it is Eagles at Buffalo is set.  It will always be against the team in the same position in the standing and the division chosen isa the one that you played against 2 seasons prior  so for 2025 would be the 2023 NFC division which was the east.  This year we played Detroit on the road so mean we get the 9th  home game for 2025.   But is possible it's an international game, can't rule that out totally.  Though maybe playing one in 2023 rules us out??

Think you're looking at 2026??  For some reason 2025 was skipped.  We played the "odd" one off NFC game this year at Detroit on the road, so next year Bills get the 9th home game so game would be in buffalo.

Looking at that think they are all off by one row??  What that should have stated was 2025 host East, 2026  at west, 2027 host south, 2028 at north.  But that doesn't make sense either as then a repeat every 4 years.  in 2021 we hosted NFC west Dallas and in 2022 we went to NFC west Rams.   Could 2025 be some one off thing, or after 4 years they flip so for 2025 Bills will have two years in a row with 9 away games??  But in 2028 and 2029 will have 9 home games two years in a row.

Well am certain playing Eagles, where??

This year it was after the draft, it used to be prior to the draft.

No idea if that is a permanent thing. It might depend on TV networks (surprise lol).

What team would you guys want the bills to play in their last ever game in Ralph Wilson Stadium . Would you want it to be the chiefs ? Or is that rivalry not old enough,  instead would you want it to be a divisional rival ?

I would be fine with the Chiefs because of the magnitude of that game

But if you want to look at it historically Miami would be pretty fitting

The stadium opened in 1973 and the first ever home game was against the Jets. Bills won 9-7. So, they opened Rich Stadium against the Jets might as well close the stadium against them as well.
