Will Josh Start vs. Pats* (Josh's start streak)

Nantz and Romo said they believe Josh cares so much about his consecutive start streak, that he'll play a series or even just 1 down vs. the Pats to keep it going.

Yes, he's done it in previous games where we plan on resting our starters, no reason to expect that to change.

I mean him "starting" is a guarantee. They'll let him take the first snap and hand it off at minimum. 

 

Should be one snap and done, IMO.

Hopefully just one hand off. I don’t want him doing more than that given how he plays the game.

They should give him the week off.  Treat it like their bye week - there is an advantage mentally to not having to prepare for a game at all.

that’s a full game less than most others who might have to play catch up or garbage time padding their stats.

He played the first half in a similar situation vs Miami a few years back.  Plus 14 wins would be a franchise record

Interesting. From a mental standpoint I completely disagree.

 

I think there's an advantage to practicing like you are going to play and staying in the "grind" mentality.

 

I feel like time off (for just about any job) rounds off your sharp edges and makes you rusty.

Yes...he cares more about the start streak than the MVP. He will hand the ball off on the first play and then trot off the field.

He comes out taking the first snap and hand off. Then leaves the field
