What message does that send to Penix every time he came to the sideline looking at Cousins like he was ready to come in? I call BS…Cousins came across as a sulking multi-millionaire. 9 minutes ago, jayg said: The message it sends is that Kirk Cousins likes to wear his helmet. 🤣 https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2023/08/11/kirk-cousins-helmet-meme-vikings-seahawks-preseason Funny stuff. The one fair thing to say about Cousins wearing his helmet is that he was keeping track of the play calls, which is what you'd want him to do under the circumstances. 1 Quote

Except teams have the little earpiece the 2 and 3 qb’s can use to listen to the playcall if they choose to. 😂 1 Quote
Billznut Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Schefter on ESPN today is so 100% adamant that Barkley won’t play Sunday and they won’t go for the rushing record. I really find that extremely hard to believe. He’s having an historic season and is so close to breaking the record, and he has the ability to break the record against his old team. Maybe I’m totally wrong here, but if was loaded with money I would absolutely bet a huge amount that Barkley will play and they absolutely will go for the record. I understand apparently Barkley and the Eagles are claiming they won’t go for the record, I just don’t believe that for a second. Quote

It would be kind of interesting to look back 30 years from now and see who has the most wealth among all the Class of 2018 QBs. Edited December 30, 2024 by Sierra Foothills Quote
Ralonzo Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 The chippiness of the Bills-Jets game is revived in the Lions-Niners game. Quote
I'mBuff Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Catch didn’t survive the ground, lost the ball for a second. Quote
BRH Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Thing is, the Lions don’t even need this win. Even if they lose, next week is still for the division and the 1 seed because they have the tiebreaker (H2H) over Minnesota. Won’t stop Campbell from putting more players in harm’s way and more plays on film than he needs to, though. We’ll see how this plays out. Quote
Doc Brown Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 It would be so funny if the Jets hire Rex Ryan over Ben Johnson. Quote
Ralonzo Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 The XP block looks a lot like the punt block against Martin a few weeks back against the Rams, the blocker just got steamrolled Quote

OJ had 2003 in 14 games and Dickerson 2105 in 16 games. Giving a guy an extra game makes it a false stat. It should be rushing yards per game based on the number of games in a season. Which says OJ holds the record. Quote

Rosen is named after another ancestor, Joseph Ballinger Lippincott, who founded publishing house J. B. Lippincott & Co.” 2 Quote

OJ is a top 5 all time RB in my opinion and his record is by far the most impressive of all these rushing “records” since and to come. But since the league and the world will consider this a new record, that’s why the conversation is happening and I shared my two cents that I’m really hoping Schefter’s prediction is wrong and he looks dumb come Sunday because I think he’s a tool and I want the world the acknowledge it. He spent two years at Fordham and transferred to Penn for his final two years. He was an econ major, hence the Wharton affiliation. 1 Quote
