Darnold isn’t just managing the game. He’s slinging it. Kevin O’Connell deserves COY in my book. It seems to me that Darnold has sparked the Viking team and they in turn have sparked him. 1 Quote

Statistics can't measure intangibles. Good pull on Storud, btw. Somehow I forgot about him. Jayden Daniels running ability adds a whole dofferent dimension. Not to mention the 4th quarter heroics. If you're actually watching the games, it isn't hard to see. Washington ruined RG3 but as a rookie he was like Daniels. Every bit his equal as a runner if not better. I’d give it to Daniels throwing it but RG3 was getting there. Then they left him out there when he was injured and he got more injured. Quote

Daniels 2. May 3-5 could go a number of ways I agree 43 minutes ago, zow2 said: I think the Bucs would be more of a threat in the playoffs with Baker Mayfield. 33 minutes ago, ColoradoBills said: I'm happy for Sam Darnold. He must feel so good in that locker room today. The QB Class of 2024 is looking awesome but the other story is the QB Class of 2018 which was viewed as potentially the greatest class ever at that time. Lamar and Josh are established superstars and Mayfield and Darnold have resurrected their careers to where they're now considered franchise QBs. I can't imagine what goes through the mind of Josh Rosen these days. 2 2 Quote

Giants kicker hurt 2. Bears Hail Mary game 3. Hurts injured in 1st quarter up 21-0 4. Saints failed 2 point at buzzer to win The Commanders are very much smoke and mirrors this season. He still had to make the hail Mary throw. He still lit up the Eagles defense for 5 passing touchdown and led a game winning drive yet again. He had one of the best performances out of any QB against a pretty good Eagles defense. Clock should have ran out and Saints never given the time to score a touchdown. Officials admitted clock official stopped the clock too long. Washington had 4 wins with the same team last year. Daniels is elevating everyone. He doesn't have a whole lot to work with and is putting up very good numbers. Edited December 30, 2024 by ProcessImproverMan 1 Quote

Shanahan was always an self centered jackass and the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. But…..the topic at hand was that he was electric as a rookie……which he was. 1 Quote

ticketssince61 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Not sure if it was mentioned, but the episode of AJ Brown trading his jersey to a fan to get back the ball that was their QB's first TD was very moving AJ did not realize it was QB first TD pass so threw the ball into the stands Very classy move 1 Quote

Gregg Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 What a pitiful performance by the Colts yesterday. They needed the game, the Giants didn't. How can you give up 45 points to the Giants who have been one of the worst teams in the league with a horrible offense. The Giants lose yesterday by winning. They went from having the #1 pick in the draft to currently selecting #4. 1 Quote

The Frankish Reich Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Re-draft guess: 1. Daniels 2. Nix. Did you see his 67 air yards bomb yesterday? I didn't know he had that in him. 3. Maye. 4. Tie. Williams. He just has that air of fear, hence the ridiculous no interceptions streak. And Penix: nice delayed start to his career, impressive arm, no apparent fear. And I can already tell that Spencer Rattler isn't an NFL QB. 1 Quote

(BTW I was at the second to last game that season OJ ran for over 200 in a snowstorm which set it up to be possible to get the record and even 2000 the next week) Sorry but Saquon can get off my lawn with this record in 17 games - doesn't impress me at all If OJ had played 17 games with his per game average he would have finished with 2,431 yards. Wow. Edited December 30, 2024 by jayg 4 Quote
zow2 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Did you all see the video shot in the Atlanta sports bar last night, when the walk off field goal was short? Pretty funny. All the ATL fans thought it was good and started prematurely celebrating going crazy. The bar set off a big celebration. People online said it was the most Falcons thing ever. 1 Quote

Doesn’t mean Daniels isn’t good, this QB class appears to be legit. I'd disagree there. I've seen some competence but nothing special from Drake Maye yet. Granted he's on a lousy team I give him that. But the Commanders didn't come into the season with a bounty of offensive talent, they were a horrendous defense last year too. Daniels has transformed the franchise and he's shown a bunch of "special" this season. I would take him over all the rookies. Quote
LabattBlue Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Announcers couldn’t ball wash Cousins enough about taking the benching in stride, great mentor blah blah blah… If this is true, what was he doing with his helmet on and chin strap buckled every time the camera was on him? What message does that send to Penix every time he came to the sideline looking at Cousins like he was ready to come in? I call BS…Cousins came across as a sulking multi-millionaire. 1 Quote
