Pry the best rookie season by a QB selected #2 in the draft since CJ Stroud and RG3.

I think he's better than both of them. I know I'm on an island for this but I wasn't impressed at all with Stroud last year.

So what does this do to Atlanta’s playoffs?

They have to win and the Bucs have to lose for them to win the division

Jayden Daniels is the closest QB to joining the "elite QB" club imo. I would bet that in 2 years we are talking about the elite tip 5 QBs

I hate to admit it, but I’d take Drake Maye over Daniels. For an offense entirely devoid of talent dude is a baller. Doesn’t mean Daniels isn’t good, this QB class appears to be legit.

I think the broadcast showed that with a loss, Atlanta has a 15% chance of making the playoffs.

Year 1, it's looking like 5 QBs from this past draft all looking good after their first year

I'd be interested to hear where people will rate those 5 today..

1. Daniels

2. May

3-5 could go a number of ways

Daniels has more of a claim to MVP than Lamar. Ravens still make the playoffs with Henry. Washington was a 4 win team last year.

Ravens still make the playoffs without Lamar?  That's just not true.

Lamar has the 2nd highest single-season passer rating in league history.   Currently...

3955 yards passing 39 TDs 4 INTs

852 rushing yards 4 TDs

Fans' attempt to downplay just how great and historic of a season he's having are being ridiculous.

Barring Injury, Jayden Daniels is headed for a Hall of Fame career.

I know that's way too early to say, but I've never seen a rookie QB hit the league running like this.  Not ever.

What are you, 10?

@Process & @T.E.

By "running" I mean off and running.  Not literally running with the football.

Name a rookie QB that has taken over a 4-win team from the previous season and led them to the playoffs.

The poise, the pocket awareness, the ability to run, the game winners, *the leadership.

When have you ever seen it?  I'll wait.

Stroud took a 3 win team to a division championship literally last year. Go look at the numbers for guys like Justin Herbert, Dan Marino, Cam Newton, etc. their rookie years.

Daniels is playing well, but acting like he's some unprecedented phenom is ridiculous. They're winning half these games by the skin of their teeth and pure luck.

Who cares how they win.  They're winning, right?

Where did you see me mention statistics?  Statistics can't measure intangibles.

Good pull on Storud, btw.  Somehow I forgot about him.

Jayden Daniels running ability adds a whole dofferent dimension.  Not to mention the 4th quarter heroics.  If you're actually watching the games, it isn't hard to see.

He’s rookie of the year and having a great first season…

But 4 of their wins

1. Giants kicker hurt

2. Bears Hail Mary game

3. Hurts injured in 1st quarter up 21-0

4. Saints failed 2 point at buzzer to win

The Commanders are very much smoke and mirrors this season.

I'm happy for Sam Darnold.  He must feel so good in that locker room today.

I know they have studs on offense, but how TF are the Vikings doing it? Crazy. Darnold isn’t just managing the game. He’s slinging it. Kevin O’Connell deserves COY in my book.
