There’s some motivation for the Chiefs.  Triple win for them to try by beating a team they hate and denying their postseason, keeping Burrow out and giving us a tougher wildcard opponent by denying us the Bronco matchup

The thing people are forgetting is that if they let the Bengals slip in by beating Denver and the Bengals upset the Bills, the Bengals then go to Arrowhead the next week. I'm sure the Chiefs don't want Burrow in Arrowhead either when they can get Pittsburgh or Houston etc.

The assumption here is the Dolphins handle the Jets next week, so no Burrow

I agree. Only QB not named Brady that has defeated them in postseason in PM era. Why let that QB in the tournament?

they stopped playing him so they could organically tank.  They are in the mix for a top 3 pick potentially.

Yep.. easy win for Baltimore… and the Ravens will do what they can to load up on Lamar’s stats.

Dude. Every week these guys are bailing out some awful throws by Darnold lol

So awful he is top 10 in most everything this year.  Imagine the Bills having that in the 17 drought years.

Lol

A stickler guy huh.

Didn’t say he was awful but that’s he’s bailed out on awful throws routinely.

It’s a fact. Addison and Jefferson make ridiculous grabs.

That's fair.  I'm a bit of a dick, or so I'm told.

I know this is weird, but if your the Lions, do you sit your starters tomorrow night against the 49ers. The game is absolutely meaningless to them. They need to beat Minnesota either way and Philadelphia can't be higher than the 2.

Well, if Lions win vs 49ers they would be #1 seed right? Or do they still have to beat Vikings? They already defeated Vikings once, so wouldn't Lions own the tie breaker if they end up with same records?

EDIT: N/M...slipped my mind Vikings won today

No whoever wins the week 18 matchup is the 1 seed.

Well, I understand that too, however, I want the best possible match-up in the wildcard round. And imo that would be any of the 3 ( Colts, Fins, Broncos) instead of the Bengals

Colts are all but out now?   I think Broncos still have the most likely path.  Win and in.  Bengals and Fins need to win and hope the other 2 lose… I think.   Fins have the tiebreaker over bengals.  I think?

Yes, The Broncos win and their in. The only way the Bengals can get in is if the Broncos lose, the Dolphins lose, and they beat the Steelers next week.
