That outside run was because of the scheme/play call. Taron Johnson got whammed out of the play and Hall ran right by him. That's going to happen unless we make a change on run downs. Other offenses just put their big offensive linemen on our small defenders and immediately win the matchup.

The tragic thing here is that you know nothing is going to change on defense.  "Oh, we stopped them on the first drive" will be McDermott's refrain despite giving up huge chunks of yardage on running plays against one of the worst run offenses in the league.

 

If we play Baltimore, I'm calling it right now - 70 yard touchdown run from Henry.  We've given that to him twice now, why not three?
