Is there any chance the Steelers or Chargers fall to the 7?

I was wondering this to if Denver wins and Pitt and the Chargers lose they’ll all be 10-7

Some people think the Bengals are the boogeyman when they face the Steelers next week, vs. the Broncos with all Chiefs backups probably will win.  Instead of who I want, it’s more likely the Broncos are first.  We’ll see how everyone else fairs.  It’s probably the next with the Ravens coming to our house.

no neither team can fall below 6

the best outcome would be Cincy not making it, but PIT losing to them to fall to the 6 seed.

Steelers would have a real chance to win in Baltimore IMO. Those games are a coin flip

Likewise a Harbaugh vs Harbaugh matchup, I could see LAC pulling an upset

I voted Dolphins, we own them.  Broncos are a bit of an unknown.

Anyone voting for the Bengals:  lol wtf

And hell no; the Chiefs aren’t going to tank next weekend.  I think they’ll lose though.

I do NOT want to see the Bengals.  They are red hot and have too much talent, don’t need to see those guys.  I’ll take the Broncos bc you can sell out on the run and their QB is still making mistakes.

A lot broke against the Broncos yesterday, leaving the door open for the Bengals, Dolphins and Colts.

I am thinking the Chiefs are going to rest everyone next week, and let the Broncos win to keep the Bengals out of the playoffs. But if the Chiefs beat the Broncos.  I think the Colts control their destiny.  If Broncos, Colts, Bengals and Dolphins all finish 9-8 then I think the Colts come in as the seventh seed.

I would rather play the Colts than the Bengals or Dolphins.   So I am a Colts and Browns fan today.

KC doesn't care at this point. I can see them just rolling over tomorrow.

Denver will be the 7 seed.  They just need to win against a KC team resting their starters next week.

Hope you're right. That 2004 game when the bills lost to the Steelers backups gives me PTSD a bit lol.

So let's hope Denver can just getter done

Let me tell you a story about the Steelers backups once upon a time

So Miami has the tie break over Bengals right? And they play the Jets next week

Yea. Think Cincy are dead with Miami winning. They'd need Miami to lose to the run for the bus Jets AND Denver to lose to KC's backups.

That feels like a stretch too far.

I can’t imagine KC wanting to see Cincy in playoffs either. They barely beat them during regular season and  Cincy does play them tough. If Cincy is out, KC has pretty “easy” road to AFC championship game.

If all are 10-7, Broncos are still the 7th seed

As muchh as Indy were my ideal Bills opponent because they are terrible it wouls have been a bit of an injustice. I think Denver, Cincy and Miami are all better than them by a considerable margin. To me the AFC Tiers are:

Tier 1: Chiefs, Bills, Ravens

Tier 2: Texans, Chargers, Bengals

Tier 3: Steelers, Broncos, Dolphins

Then the Colts are kind of in no man's land as a very bad team too talented to suck and then the other six - Browns, Patriots, Raiders, Jags, Titans and Jets are utter trash.

Other than we play them damn well and can beat them any given Sunday

Sorry, no Dolphins.  I hate divison games.  Don't care how much better we are.  Division games can get hairy.

Bengals, we have history with, and getting some revenge would be sweet, but they have Burrow, and there would be a weird vibe b/c of the whole Hamlin thing.

Give me Denver.  An improving team but one that, barring injury, if we lose to, we really have nobody to blame but ourselves.

PS: I don't think KC will tank.  Denver almost (and should have) beaten them earlier, and if they upset us, will be KC's first opponent.  At the same time, I think KC rests their starters and doesn't go out of their way to beat them, either.

Looking like the Dolphins on wild card weekend. Curious as to what others think about this.

Famous last words, but that was my ideal matchup for the Bills in first round. I get the whole "hard to beat a team 3 times in one season" thing but we match up well against them, especially if it's cold. And there might be a bit of a psychological advantage there as well.

Don't want any part of the Bengals and the Broncos are unpredictable.

Why do you say it’s looking like the Dolphins? It’s still very firmly looking like the Broncos. Dolphins need them to lose AND they need to win their last game with potentially a back up QB
