I don't want to make it 3-0! Could you imagine having to go through the Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs just to get out of the AFC? Ain't no way

I hear ya! But if we can't beat the Bengals in a down year, then we don't deserve the title.

I don't think the Colts are very good but they have the easiest path on paper (NYG, JAX)

Denver has the easiest: just beat KC, who is resting its starters next week.

In this order what I would prefer:

1. Colts

2. Broncos

3. Dolphins

4. Bengals

I would be very confident in 1-3. #4 would be a shootout and anyone’s game in the end. Fortunately #4 is the least likely scenario

about the same

Lots of concerns about a low chance Cincy team, but I don’t really want a peaking Jonathan Taylor who has historically owned us either. Give me the Donks.

Bengals need Miami to lose to Cleveland. That seems unlikely.

They also need Denver to lose to KC. Screw the rivalry. If I'm KC, I intentionally let Denver win to keep the Bengals out.

Why would the chiefs gaf about the bengals. They will probably lose to Denver with resting starters but not intentionally for keeping cincy out

Because if the Bengals upset the Bills, Cincinnati goes to KC for the Divisional game. If I'm KC, i'd much rather play any other team besides the Bills and Ravens than Cincinnati in the Divisional round. The Bengals had their regular season game won besides the late PI

I'm not convinced that the Chiefs are going to be resting all their guys. Having 2 weeks off for everyone may be a disadvantage, plus there is always the added incentive of screwing your division rival out of a playoff spot.

It's hard to believe and I've been downplaying it for weeks, but Cincinnati is getting closer and closer to the 7th seed. Every single thing they've needed has happened.

The correct answer is “anybody but the Bengals”

This.
I don’t want to play a high-powered offense with our defense.

The Colts would’ve been my top pick. They showed exactly why as they just got blasted by a crap team in a must win game. So with the Colts out, I guess I pick Denver next. The only thing that scares me about them is their coach that has been there before.

Then I guess the Dolphins… yes, we own them… but they’ve scared us a few times for sure.  If their offense is healthy, it’s good, and see my point above about not wanting to play a high powered offense.
