Plenty of teams lost to Baltimore and Houston. Literally nobody else could beat the Chiefs. And only one other team beat the Lions.

Raiders didn’t lose to Baltimore. My point was getting the #1 seed requires winning as many games as possible. Bills didn’t win enough games. That has been the case the last few years. Get the #2 seed seems to be the ceiling for this team. Good thing championships aren’t determined by seedings.

If we win today we have a bye week. Can we not bash McDermott 24/7. I get it but seriously

we dont get a bye week with the second seed.

yeah tecnically, but you'd have to be being quite petty to not understand the point the lad was making. we can rest up some key players because we've done pretty well this year. i think the mention of mcdermott just gets some people insane like how some political figures do. i've no idea why.

We literally can create our own bye week with a win. The 2 seed would be locked and we rest everyone week 18

No such thing.  45 guys will be at some level of injury risk in week 18,.

For the starters

and if a starter is injured another guy goes in. This is not even close to a bye.  A true bye, also allows for an extra week of preparation.

The two massive coaching blunders this year cost us the 1 seed. Going for 3 straight passes and leaving enough time for Houston to get the ball back and kick a game winning field goal and choosing to accept the penalty on Los Angeles instead of 4th and 7 which would have no doubt resulted in a field goal. Just terrible. The gauntlet of how the playoffs look like they are going to play out is tragic. If we see the ravens,  which is more than likely, I unfortunately see us getting bounced in the divisional round. Hopefully chargers or Pittsburgh can beat them in the wildcard…

Houston game was Allen’s fault

It's almost identical to a bye lol. KC did the same thing last year.

And no you don't need to send another starter in.

It's similar to how everyone thought the Bills would be the worst team in football in 2017 and they ended up making the playoffs.  They lose Diggs, Morse and Davis on offense, Hyde, Poyer and Floyd on defense  and people think they're missing the playoffs this year.

This was the stupidiest preseason analysis possible. It was predicated on the idea that delicate Tua and Old Man Rodgers were somehow leading the Jets and Dolphins to glory. It was ludicrous.

That and/or a big step back by the Bills.

I would roll my eyes at your BIL.  If Haley had such a great clue, why post-Pittsburgh did he spend 2 years coaching HS and now coaching USFL?  Tomlin spent 6 years with Haley as his OC, but all of a sudden he's "intimidated" by him and he has to go because he's not a "yes man"?

As HC of the Chiefs, Haley was noted as an egomaniac who created an atmosphere of mistrust and intrigue.  Canning Haley and hiring Reid a year later was clearly a great move.  As the Pittsburgh OC, there was notable conflict between Haley, Big Ben, and sometimes other players (Blount).  At the time, it was rumored that Pittsburgh moved on from Haley because he and Ben just couldn't work it out.

Big Ben had his most productive season as a passer the year after Haley left, so there's that.

Chucking hail Mary Passes to AB. C'mon man, Big Ben's best years were when they had a running game.

We put up 40 today and won a 6 th time this year by 20+.  Yeah McD is horrible.  The OP must know absolutely nothing about football, but he deserves like any of us to have his own opinion.

McD isn’t perfect, but neither is any other HC in the NFL.
