Remember that time McDermott went 9/31 passing against the overrated Houston Texans defense?

Panicked ....Diggs Drama was all in his head, I have no doubt about that.

The two massive coaching blunders this year cost us the 1 seed. Going for 3 straight passes and leaving enough time for Houston to get the ball back and kick a game winning field goal and choosing to accept the penalty on Los Angeles instead of 4th and 7 which would have no doubt resulted in a field goal. Just terrible. The gauntlet of how the playoffs look like they are going to play out is tragic. If we see the ravens,  which is more than likely, I unfortunately see us getting bounced in the divisional round. Hopefully chargers or Pittsburgh can beat them in the wildcard…

Most all this is crap but I’ll pick one:  there’s no reason to think McVay doesn’t go for it on 4th down.

I’ll go one further, the way our defense was playing, they make it.

Reid tried to throw on a 4th and 2 and basically torpedoed his teams chances of beating the raiders but he got bailed out by a fumbled snap and they blocked a chip shot fg that saved them the broncos game.  They got some straight up dumb luck in close games and we got beat by a fairbairn 59 yarder…sh*t happens

later in the year fairbairn blew a 28 yarder against the titans that cost his team the game

I can see the debate on the Texans game playcalling, Samuel was wide open to prevent a punt that likely would’ve set the Texans up in immediate fg range and Josh missed the throw though to be fair.  That wasn’t ALL on coaching imo.

accepting that 3rd and 7 penalty in fringe fg range against the rams I 100% agree with mcd on.

Can’t blame Sean for Houston, Bills sucked that game.  Josh was uncharacteristically bad on that last series. Then their kicker makes a 60 yd FG. At some point you have to blame the players. LA was a combination of bad coaching decisions, especially the TO at the goal line, and really bad defense. Still, KC lost one game and we lost 3. If someone said we lose 3 all year with our schedule, you’d be giddy. Sean is a good coach and the record says it all, but he has been unreliable in the biggest moments for a while.

I do agree that McD cost us both the Texans and Rams games but I don’t see any team other than the chiefs beating us in the AFC and that’s only because they have a massive coaching advantage. Josh is going to will us past every other team despite our train-wreck special teams and defense and coaching this time of year

Look man I thought there was zero Chance kc would run the table. Plus the 3 games in ten days. If buffalo wins 14 games, it will be the first time in 20 years a 14 win team didn't get the one seed.

They got it done. Sometimes you gotta just tip your cap.

We'll see them in arrowhead.

We need to win 2 games to make it Arrowhead

Yes you can. Josh was having an off game and changes in playcall needed to be made.

Has there ever been teams with only one loss in a season, I'm guessing no.

San Francisco did it one of their SB years with Montana.

He also made the call to go for it on 4th, beating the chiefs, has the team 4-0 in the division and has completely shifted the culture in Buffalo since he came here. The Bills are 12-3 and locked up the division in week 13. Is this thread supposed to be a hyperbole?
