Informative article on Burrow’s discontent with the Bengals org

Years ago, I read that the Bengals front office was a skeleton crew, Brown was very cheap in that department. The article insinuated that they took things like Mel Kiper's reports seriously as a tool in their drafting process. Maybe even PFF.

 

Anyway.. it's just what I read years ago. That may not be true today.

They're soon going to be paying 2 players $100M/year on average.

I do agree about his high sack rate. The line is trash, but a lot of those sacks are on him. It’s the one flaw in his game.

Burrow is strange for a great QB. Usually a top QB elevates the talent around him, but Burrow really needs two #1 WRs to be successful. For example, the Bengals are 6-4 with Higgins but 1-4 without him. The only game that the Bengals won without Higgins was against the Raiders. Chase has played every game. So, just having the best WR in the league is not enough for him. He needs #1 and another top 10 guy to do anything. 

 

My take also. Higgins plucks in so many meh decisions from him.
