Had to actually look it up to remember

Jets/Bills game in 1993 where it was 9 degrees with a wind chill of minus 28

Raiders/Bills Divisional game 1994 0 degrees with a chill of -32

2021 Bills Patriots Wind Game was pretty bad and I was much older

Bills Browns 2008 MNF game.  Two awful teams

I missed the pleasure of the WC game against the Pats, the Colts game, The Giants game etc. Call me soft but as i've gotten older If I knew the weather was going to be absolute *****, I more often than not passed on going.

I was at bills browns 2008 MNF. I didn’t know what was worse, the cold or watching Trent edwards lead us to wide right Lindell

Bills Patriots 12/17/2000

35 degrees, rainy, and high winds. Once that rain soaks through your layers you're done. The wind made it unbearable.

Vinateri missed a 27 yard FG at the end of regulation. Christie missed a 30 yard FG in OT. We left after that missed kick and the stadium must've been about 10% full by then.

This friggin game…

I rode on a party bus for 3 1/2 hours each way, split with a 50/50 mix of Bills and Giants fans who I had known for years (maybe 16 of us total). This was going to be my first game I had ever been to in person. On top of that, my buddy had a little sister who he was trying to get to date me at the time, and she was coming with us so I was looking VERY forward to the trip. Little did I know he had been drinking excessively the night before.

I should also add I was 21, and my group of degenerates decided we were gonna take shots at 6am to really kick things off. We knew we were going to tailgate hard, but figured we would just get after it. We start boozing, and 45 mins into the trip my buddy gets off the bus to puke, says he can’t go any further and is gonna get a ride back. His sister leaves with him. Bummer.

We get to the Ralph and I remember it was cloudy but actually not as cold as I expected (lol). I was in a jersey and hoodie and was comfortable enough… or intoxicated enough. The thing about me is that I knew how to pace myself, whereas not all of my friends did. We were getting after it, having a great time, and then the parade of tragedy continued on…

Another friend of mine got so drunk that he couldn’t even stand up straight while he was at the gate. Do you know how drunk you have to be for security to not let you into a game in 2007? I do, because my friend was not even able to get inside the stadium. We walked him back to the bus and he slept it off the entire rest of the day.

We get in and I remember how cool it was to be at the Ralph for the first time. I kept thinking “it’s way too weird for it to be almost Christmas and not having any bad weather. We go get a touchdown- woohoo! I didn’t expect us to be able to get after it right away. Then touchdown #2 comes. 14-0 first quarter… then the clouds go black. I legit said “I knew this was too good to be true…”

Then the rain starts falling, but not straight down- it was at like a 45* angle, stabbing us in the face. Then the giants go on a tear to get to 14-17 by halftime. Every inch of my body is soaked, we are now getting curb stomped, and then the snow starts to fall.

i have become a human Popsicle.

2 more of my friends left, apparently to hook up on the bus while the other guy was passed out drunk. Had my day gone better maybe that could have been me, but alas, life is unfair. That girl scored more in the second half than the Bills did - it was 21-31 and the Bills throw a pick-6 to seal their fate. Giants survive and go to the playoffs. Not sure how that ended for them…

TLDR; I was soaking wet, then frozen, watched the Bills do Billsy things to lose, and had to ride home for 3 1/2 hours listening to drunk Giants fans dunk on me.

That's a fantastic story!  Thanks for sharing.  That game will go down as a memorable one for all of us that were in attendance but sounds like it was even more memorable for you in so many other ways 😂

Those old drought games are like old battle scars for Bills fans

Chargers Bills opener in ?? Recently. So damn hot. Near 90 and we got smoked. Everyone left early.

Patriots Monday night game where no one scored and it was super cold

Patriots or dolphins super cold playoff game

First game I ever went to vs pats I think. Freezing rain in late Nov maybe. So cold and we lost.

If I remember correctly it was December 18, 1966 when Denver came to War Memorial. It was my first game I ever attended and we were sitting in the end zone with the scoreboard and it was snowing so hard you could not see the scoreboard. It was quite an experience.

That Giants game is such a good call. That was awful!!

The Raiders AFC Championship was brutal. That Pats game where Mac threw it 3 times has to be in there. This Cardinals game always comes to mind:

There are two faces on my Rushmore.   The Zero Degree January ‘94 Raiders Playoff game.   A tough slog.   Tasker with a big kick return, if I recall.

But, November 1990 vs Phoenix was the worst.  Cold, wind, rain.   Check the video.

My first-ever Bills game:

Mine also. It was a last minute “opportunity of a lifetime”, one of my father’s group couldn’t go. Gee….wonder why?

I feel like I was there

I remember all that and being cold

pretty sure it was that game or a similar one but my hands were ice

Freezing rain game against Giants in '07 was the coldest I've ever been and there isn't another one particularly close.  I remember taking my wet clothes off and driving home in just my boxers hoping a cop wouldn't pull us over.  Lol.

The only other one that stood out was that playoff game against the Raiders in the last Super Bowl run.  Brutally cold but the alcohol consumed before hand helped.

Here ya go. I queued it up to the 4th quarter when the wind and the sleet was really at it's worst.  From the upper deck you could see the waves of sleet advancing across the parking lot and the lip of the stadium so you knew when to cover your face before you got pelted. This wind and sleet was  the capper to what was already a wet and raw day.  Just awful.  I really can't overemphasize how unpleasant the 2nd half and especially 4th quarter of that game was.  I have only been colder 1 other time and it's when I fell through the ice on a pond.

1974 Jets @ Bills - Hurricane like conditions in September.  Virtually unplayable conditions.

Joe Namath: 2 completions

Joe Ferguson: 0 completions

I can only come up with two games I’ve attended that were “miserable” from an in-the-stadium standpoint:

Nov. ’90 vs. Cardinals (driving rain/snow?/wind)

Jan. ‘94 vs. Raiders (bitter cold)
