BillsPride12 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Not sure how I would rank these so mine is in no official order but these are definitely the Top 4 2007- Giants at Bills Freezing rain game 2007 Bills at Browns Whiteout Game 2021 Patriots at Bills MNF Wind Game 2021 Patriots at Bills Sub Below Temperature Was thinking about this topic earlier from some discussion I saw on Twitter and after careful thought these would be my Top 4 but then I thought about how it was interesting how each pair came from the same season and relatively close to each other. The Giants and Browns games were back to back weeks. Quote
zow2 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Been to some very cold and also rainy games. but for whatever reason i remember the (1980’s?) game vs the Pats when the garbage bags were blowing around it was so windy. Like 50+ gusts. It was hard to sit and watch Quote

It’s the only game my wife has ever been to-she made us leave at halftime. Only time I’ve ever left a game early. By the time we made it back to get parents House it was snowing so I was actually really happy we left 3 1 Quote
scuba guy Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Eagles at bills a few years back. We got spanked. Rain wind and eagles fans in our section screaming how we suck. Quote

Augie Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Bengals in the blizzard as a kid at the Rockpile. A complete whiteout! We had to listen to someone’s transistor radio to have any idea what was happening on the field. That was AWESOME!!! . Edited 56 minutes ago by Augie Quote
billsfan714 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Have no idea of the year, probably mid 70s Colts at home in freezing rain. Cringed every time the clock stopped. Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago That Giants game is such a good call. That was awful!! The Raiders AFC Championship was brutal. That Pats game where Mac threw it 3 times has to be in there. This Cardinals game always comes to mind: 2 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Had to actually look it up to remember Jets/Bills game in 1993 where it was 9 degrees with a wind chill of minus 28 Raiders/Bills Divisional game 1994 0 degrees with a chill of -32 2021 Bills Patriots Wind Game was pretty bad and I was much older Bills Browns 2008 MNF game. Two awful teams I missed the pleasure of the WC game against the Pats, the Colts game, The Giants game etc. Call me soft but as i've gotten older If I knew the weather was going to be absolute *****, I more often than not passed on going. schoolhouserock Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago The 2007 giants game was by far the worst. I managed to get completely soaked before it dropped below freezing. When we walked back to the car I had a hard time sitting down because my clothes had frozen solid. Another one, but for a different reason: Denver at Buffalo in 2005. There was plenty of snow on the ground and I had the misfortune of sitting next to an obnoxious Broncos fan (complete stranger - I did not know them). They were so obnoxious that folks started chucking snowballs at them every now and then. I swear more of the snowballs hit me! 1 1 Quote

I had completely forgotten about that Colts game when I made this post as I was not there either even though I had season tickets that season. If I went to that game would have made things much more difficult finalizing my Top Four as I'm sure that would be another worthy one. Quote

Of course, the wind giveth and taketh away in Buffalo. The following year in 1991 Shawn McCarthy of the Patriots had a 93 yard punt that I don't think will ever be replicated. It was the longest kick since the NFL-AFL merger lol Edited 14 hours ago by buffblue 1 1 Quote
Rich Stadium Original Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Been to some really cold snowy games over the years...but for whatever reason one of the most memorable weather games had to be against the Jets in 1974. Absolute downpour, and winds gusting over 45 mph. Bills won 16-12. Ferguson only attempted 2 passes and didn't complete any. Namath was 2-18 for 33 yards. No TDS and 3 INTs. More INTs than completions Quote

Yeah for that 07 Giants game I wore my old school 90s Starter jacket which overall you won't find a better jacket to deal with the elements than those bad boys but somehow the freezing rain/sleet actually froze to my jacket. It was pretty wild...and also miserable as the Giants manhandled Buffalo all day 1 Quote
DaVinci Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Remember a Miami game couple years ago. Sitting in the upper deck it was 95 degrees. Baked all game, Mom got heat stroke. 2 Quote
May Day 10 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) I always think of the 2007 Giants game Was windy and raining sideways. We had to stand around our tent and hold it in place. Was miserable. Also very cold... but not freezing. However, in the 3rd quarter, you feel the air mass/bubble from the lake hit all at once and the temperature dropped like 15 degrees instantly. Everyone in the crowd started screaming like it was a disaster movie. Everyone's soaking wet hat, gloves, jacket, pants, etc turned into ice almost instantly. Then it was heavy snow the rest of the game. I went to that game with a good friend of mine, and he passed away (tragically) a couple months later. Good memories and a crazy weather game Edited 14 hours ago by May Day 10 4 Quote
JohnNord Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Bills vs. Cardinals from the 1990 season. I was pretty young and this was the first game I ever attended live. My aunt and uncle surprised me with game tickets that week. According to the broadcast it was 40 degrees but it was very windy and we were sitting high in the 300’s. We were absolutely freezing. Maybe it was because it was November and we weren’t dressed for the elements? I remember it snowing a bit too though it doesn’t look like much accumulated on the field. By halftime my feet were frozen and I was finding any excuse to get out of the wind into the corridor to warm up. It didn’t work very well! Anyway the Bills were rolling then. Not much else to remember about this game other than a big Bills win and a backward punt from Rich Camarillo. My aunt and uncle aren’t around anymore but this was a great memory to me. 2 Quote
JP51 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Early 90s SB years back to back games against the Jets and Raiders got out at Pinto Ron's tailgate and one of the guys that was an army ranger smeared medicated vasoline on my face and said it's minus 35 wind chill your face will freeze in 3 minutes without it lol... we had to hold our beers over the burn barrel to stop them from freezing when we pulled them back to drink they immediately became slush and then we held them over the barrel again... I think I went to bourbon at something lol 1 Quote
