We won't have a choice but to try and run it.

They won’t have a choice but to run whatever gauntlet the final seeding and game results dictate.

I would have rather had McD remain DC this year and call all the plays. The effort last year v the chiefs in the playoffs was better than we have seen, 3 straight stops in the 4th by AJ Klein et al (one overcoming a phantom flag) gave a chance to win in the fourth.

It’s a little taxing to be heralded as a Super Bowl contender to the level we have and then have things unfold as we have seen. I had much more hope in the 90’s. This team is just not a complete team and hasn’t been. Sure we have a great record as we have many times in the past, but holy crap is Josh pulling so much of that. It has become so obvious this is basically Josh Allen and his band of marry men. We are just out gunned and out maneuvered.

Every one of your many many many posts brings something new

No, miserable fan bases don’t matter lol, evidenced by all the bad teams every year in the NFL and miserable fan bases are going to matter even less if that’s possible,  in places where the teams are already excellent.

I think it just bothers you that other fan’s don't view the team through the same prism as you do. You’re definitely not alone in this but it shouldn’t surprise or shock you that other fans aren’t as upset or angered about the team and its decisions, the Bills are a very entertaining product right now and have been for years.

Fan bases, media, and fan pressure move the needle on coaches. To think just because teams are insanely profitable or like us, successful, that external noise has no impact, thats just not accurate.

Just a few weeks ago in his postgame speech, after Sean just got done discussing how they won another AFC East championship, Terry says  ”now win the big one”. While I think Terry is ultimately happy, to say he doesn’t have some of the same views as us “negative” fans is fairly unknown at the time. Further the speed at which these views grow, it’s very fast. So maybe they’re just starting in him but that doesn’t mean they won’t grow and grow quick. Confidence is a delicate thing for most.

Sure it bothers me that fans don’t see the dead end that is this coach. How Allen has made McD’s career. Yes, it bothers me. For starters it’s just not honest to hold him in this elite category when he’s doing it off the jock of one guy while holding him down like an anchor. That just pisses me off, but that’s not really it.

I would like to see a Super Bowl in my life. I really want just one damn Super Bowl. The 90’s had an immense amount of entertainment. The 2020’s have as well. But both those periods also came with a lot of torment. We were a national punchline for gods sake. All of it is in the pursuit of a Super Bowl. So how entertaining is it when you know the guy that’s supposed to get you over the hump come crunch time shrivels to nothing? The entertainment just isn’t as good.

I think you will arrive at this place at some point. Just about everybody on this forum will. By that point we will be close to saying good bye to Josh if not already there. We will no longer be entertaining and we will do this all over again. Who knows, maybe 20 years later like last time. So that’s what I don’t want. Even if it is entertaining right now.

I think we’ll be fine against the Broncos, and the Achilles heel of the Ravens defense is they are 29th out of 32.    They are incredibly susceptible to our passing game and that also limits their ability to run if we get up fast.  That’s how we beat the Ravens.  They have almost twice the losses as Buffalo.

We commandingly beat the Chiefs again this year, and with luck, we won’t have 5 defensive starters out this time around like last year against the chiefs  in the playoffs.  We are getting healthier and we’ll probably load manage the rest of the games in the regular season.

The Eagles to me is the real wildcard if we get to the dance.  If it helps some to just always find the negative on a 12-3 team opposing two more weak teams, have fun.  Some people just always find fault in anything they can grapple onto, and do the, but, but, but.

It's arguably the most entertaining team in the NFL. 👍

Definitely have the most entertaining QB.

The team that keeps winning the AFC championships certainly entertains its fanbase more than  the Bills entertains there.  Very silly to argue otherwise.

Just keep telling me how random our playoff collapses are and how this is the year. It gets me hot.

Michael and his marry men did quite well in Chicago.  And Tom and his band of marry men got plenty done in New England.  The "it's all Josh Allen" narrative is getting tiring.  Take Lamar off the Ravens, Mahomes off the Chiefs, Goff off the Lions, and Hurts off the Eagles and let me know how their superior men fare.

The Bills are worse with all of those QBs other than Mahomes. They are the same with Mahomes.

Can they? Of course they can....Will they its to be seen and lets be frank none of this may happen. If the Steelers lose to the Bengals(possible) and the Chargers win their last two, the Chargers are the 5 and the Steelers are the 6th. Steelers vs Ravens can go a lot of different ways as we have seen.

Interestingly every team you mention has gone deeper in the playoffs than we have the last two years.

The question is "do you think the defense can play well enough to not waste Superman performance by Allen?"

Honestly, I don't know. I'd like to say yes but defenses that were far better than the one we have now have turned into sieves in the playoffs.

Maybe that's it, this defense ends the year horrible and turns it on for the playoffs?

Chiefs won a playoff game without Mahomes for much of the game.

Ravens treaded water, made the playoffs and were a fluke 99 yard return for a TD away from winning a playoff game with Snoop Huntley.

Hurts off the Eagles?… Elite OL, Saquan, Brown, Smith and Goedert.  That Eagles?

Most us aren’t arguing Josh doesn’t have help..   He has an elite OL, 3 good RB’s, 2 good TE’s and a solid group of WR’s.   It’s a Championship level Offense with Josh that can absolutely steamroll people if they’re on.

It’s not what the Eagles have though.

Most unbiased people would take what the Ravens have in Henry, Andrews, Likely and the highest separation rate in league for WR’s.

Issue is, nevermind our Defense letting us down every year… this year, KC has a top tier defense and Baltimore’s defense has been elite since Week 8.

Meanwhile our Defense is regressing to its playoff selves.

Like it does… year after year.   It’s exhausting and it’s a fair criticism on what Josh has to deal with.

That would be pretty ironic if it happened.
