Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs - Can the Bills run through this gauntlet.

I think the defense bounces back as players heal up. I also think the Bills can absolutely beat the Ravens with the way the offense has been playing. The Ravens had a very lopsided time of possession against us in our regular season game. The offense just needs to stay on the field. People are blaming the defense for that loss, which, they were certainly a big part of it. The offense though, had a really bad game too. There is no question in my mind that the offense can flip that script. Keep our offense on the field and keep theirs off and the Bills walk away with a big win. There really is no reason to think that a predominantly running team can boat race a predominantly passing team. The Bills have shown all season that they can put up a lot of points, something they simply failed to do against the Ravens.  I honestly think the Bills can win against any team.

I'm also not buying the notion that this team is devoid of talent outside of Allen. There is talent all over the offense. The defense has some question marks but they aren't nearly as bad as many are making them out to be. With healthy safeties and CBs, this is still one of the leagues best pass defenses. Run defense needs some work, but it seems that a lot of that is coaching.

Yes as I was typing it I was thinking the same thing, maybe we are all just being nervous nellies and giving other teams to much credit🤷

I think our offense is flat out dominant when they want to be.  But our defense is just awful without a pass rusher to make Sean's scheme work. Bass is statistically having a worse year then last 81% and the rest of Smileys crew is a mess.  Most playoff HC's like Peyton, Harbaugh & Reid will coach circles around Sean.  That's just the honest truth.

So our really only chance to survive this likely 3 team gauntlet is to ask Josh to score 30+ every week.  That in itself is a tough ask. When will our D & ST show the desire that we see from the offense?  And if it wasn't for the positive turnover margin,  we'd really be screwed.

I'm putting the odds of us winning a SB with all these truths at around 15%.

It'll be Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs IMO

Redemption tour! If you want to be the man, you have to beat the man!

I wish the AFC was like this during the Patriots dynasty.

They would secure the #1 seed and get the Texans and Jaguars as the path.

Don't over look the very real possibility of Cinny getting the number 7 spot, them it would be Cinny, Balt, and KC!

You have a better chance of seeing the Sabres make the playoffs then you do the Bengals.

I’m hoping we have some game specific defensive plans for each team. Yeah, our base nickle D is built to stop the Chiefs. We saw a little 3 lb stuff here and there but Glass Milano got hurt again so who knows if they’ve had time to install it to the point they’d use it in the playoffs against Ravens. Don’t overlook the Wild Card game. Everyone on here is talking Ravens and Chiefs when we’ve gotta win one/two to have chance at those matchups.

I read Cinny needs to win the next 2 and the dolphins and Colts both need to loss 1 each, that's definite possible, but I hope your right, because I want no piece of Cinny.

But if Broncos and Chargers both win one more game than they clinch the final two spots in the AFC playoffs.

I just looked back on the 2017 playoff run to the SB for NE.

#1 seed.

Divisional round: Brady/Belichick vs Mariotta /Mularkey

AFC Championship: Brady/Belichick vs Bortles/Marrone

It doesn't even sound possible!

Then in the SB they lose to Nick Foles and Doug Pederson

Cinci is in big trouble.

First off they got to beat Denver and Pittsburgh, won't be easy to do.

Then they got to hope Denver loses against most likely KCs backups.

Then they got to hope the colts lose to either the giants or jags.

And then they got to hope for Miami to lose to the browns or jets.

They would need a mini miracle to get in

I don't imagine Sean Payton and that defense will be an easy Wild Card out.

The Chiefs are going to be tough, at Arrowhead. Yes we beat them there before. It just looks like the Chiefs have another gear. Last 2 games beat 2 division leaders comfortably.

It's clear the top 3 in AFC is Chiefs Bills and Ravens, which over order you prefer. The unfortunate thing is Bills look to have to go thru 2 of them to reach superbowl.

The hot healthy team, or the team with the easy path, is who wins the Superbowl.

We are winning if the d pulls what Cincy did when they went to the chip -- suddenly plays with aggression and makes it hard to score TDS, while the o just goes on fire.

We saw the o basically on fire during the 4 game KC, SF, Rams, Lions stretch.  We saw the d ball out vs KC and for 2.5/3 quarters vs the lions, and got bailed out mostly by weather vs SF.

It can happen, but we need Bishop and Williams and Elam to emerge as players of the future, as well as von to find the old magic and Oliver and Groot to look like they did vs Detroit.

So, we have seen this team pull it together, but we'll need them to really do it in the playoffs

I still don’t see the chiefs making it to the AFC championship.   So the Bills will have a great chance of hosting the Championship game at home once they lock up the 2 seed.

Unless there is an upset on WC weekend the divisional round will most likely be Ravens at Bills and the Chiefs hosting the winner of the Steelers-Texans. I think the Chiefs have an excellent chance to be in the AFCCG hosting the winner of the Bills-Ravens game.

Pats fans like to mythologize and say that the AFC was "so much tougher" when they had Brady.

It absolutely was not.
