I suspect if our front office faced more external pressure it would become more likely to create change. So yes, it matters. Josh Allen isn’t the Bills only player, but I get it. I suspect that’s why most teams spend every waking minute trying to find a Josh Allen of their own. They don’t grow on trees or every team would have one. It still doesn’t guarantee a first round bye or a Super Bowl berth. Sometimes you have a great year and your top competitor goes 17-1 . Edited 13 hours ago by Boatdrinks Quote
JoshAllin Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) As long as they have a healthy Douglas, Rapp, Benrard and Milano with the possibilty of Hyde coming back I don't see how the bills can't pass through the gauntlet Especially last playoffs in where they had the worst set of injuries compared to any other teams Edited 13 hours ago by JoshAllin Quote

Do you think the Bills can do it? Yes they totally can. Each game will be tough. Even if Denver gets in, I feel that Sean Payton is going to try his damndest to exploit the weakness of the Bills defense - as will every other OC. It won’t be easy but it can be done. Also the same people who can’t see Buffalo getting by Baltimore were the ones who said they Bills couldn’t beat the Chiefs. And the ones who said Buffalo couldn’t run the table last season 1 Quote

They own a business that is guaranteed to make a large profit every year. Yes there is a reason why every NFL teams wants a Josh Allen. The QB far outweighs the importance of any other player on the team: that’s the nature of the sport. It doesn’t guarantee a Super Bowl Trophy - or even an appearance in the big game- but it makes it a lot more likely. Hardly a revelation there. The game is entertainment, and it’s a lot more entertaining when it is played well. Quote

billsfanmd07 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Both Stroud and Wilson were next level bad today. They had open plays and could not get out of their own way. Tripping, off target, held ball too long. Stroud’s sideline body language would make me want to move on from him. We have Josh. The chiefs and ravens knew the other team had no offense and played loose. Edited 13 hours ago by billsfanmd07 Quote

No, miserable fan bases don’t matter lol, evidenced by all the bad teams every year in the NFL and miserable fan bases are going to matter even less if that’s possible, in places where the teams are already excellent. I think it just bothers you that other fan’s don't view the team through the same prism as you do. You’re definitely not alone in this but it shouldn’t surprise or shock you that other fans aren’t as upset or angered about the team and its decisions, the Bills are a very entertaining product right now and have been for years. oldmanfan Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Jackson has a tendency to fold in the playoffs. And we get them at home McD will figure out a way to slow their offense down. Quote
henry jones Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Only chance we have of not seeing Baltimore in round 2 is if Pittsburgh gets the 6th seed. They are fully capable of beating Baltimore, whereas I don’t believe any of the other potential candidates can. Quote
Success Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Maybe it's the kind of run we'd need to finally get a title. The team would gain a lot of confidence getting through that. Sometimes the easiest path isn't the best path. Quote

Agreed that KC and Baltimore played loose. With the injuries Houston has at WR and the fact that Russell Wilson is in control in Pitt, both of their offenses are pre not capable to stay in a high scoring game. As a result, I wouldn’t take too much from how the Ravens and Chiefs looked today Quote

jahnyc Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Ravens are definitely a concern if we and the Ravens win in the first round of the playoffs, which is what I believe will happen. I don't think we match-up well against them, as shown in the regular season meeting between the Bills and the Ravens. Very physical, strong running teams pose a real challenge to our defense and scheme, and Lamar adds that extra dimension with his running and passing abilities. Maybe the weather and playing in Buffalo will have an impact. I recall the Bills beating the Ravens in a recent playoff match-up, and I don't think that Lamar is a cold weather QB. Quote
zow2 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago The Bills need to be a real stubborn “out” much like Cincinnati was the year they went to the SB. Their D was sticky in coverage, and they were opportunistic with takeaways. the Bills can’t allow teams to just freely roam down the field and “hope” we get a takeaway. Gotta be aggressive. On the offensive side i think the Bills can outscore anyone with Allen leading the charge. 2 Quote
