Pretty sure the Ravens Defense has been an elite Defense since week 8… think I saw that this past week.

Both the Chiefs and Ravens looking like they’re rounding into very well balanced squads heading into the postseason.

Now that this game is over, let’s see how much the Ravens are willing to pad Lamar’s stats some more… I certainly would not put it past them to get him as many TDs as they possibly can here.

After all, in each of Lamar’s 4+ TD performances this season, he has had several TDs scored after the game was essentially over.

in contrast, in Allen’s game vs LA and Detroit, each and every TD was a necessity. That in itself should make it more impressive to anyone with a vote.

I don't but I take the time to look at past winners and can draw pretty obvious conclusions those that don't take the time can't. Such has nobody wins with less than a 3 to 1 PASSING TD to INT ratio. Doesn't happen. But keep thinking the world is only out to screw our players.

I don't think they are out to screw players. I do however listen to some of the voters on their shows like Acho, Dungy and Orlovsky. who like Allen over Lamar I also know Brady currently has Lamar as the MVP.

They are who we thought they were 😆

I tried tell you all they were an overrated defense.

I said they were two weeks ago and you debated me on that.

Besides, I thought injuries were no excuse when Buffalo was missing 3/4 members of their secondary

I said the Houston defense was not over rated as what they accomplished thus far was very impressive. You seem to want to turn it into a life long an unconditional declaration. I'm sure injuries have impacted us, just as I'm sure they have impacted them. I don't pretend to know how much. They're missing a lot more, which I know isn't possible given we have a league high injury rate from 2020-2024.

Because he hasn’t lost to cellar dweller teams and has multiple MVP moments in prime time including beating both 1 seeds from each conference who hold a 28-1 record combined against everyone else, has great stats and is doing it all with the least amount of top end talent around him on a team most predicted wouldn’t even win their division.

People can make all the arguments they want as far as who is more deserving in the MVP race.

Personally i feel Josh deserved it last year when he didn't get it.

I think it's too close to call this year but Lamar has a slight edge and Josh has to hold serve now... which I hope really isn't a priority for Josh or the Bills.

HOW was Stroud so hyped?

I think a better question is "Who bought into the hype?"

At some point getting this Houston team in Buffalo in January would be a gift.  I wonder what the NFL record is for biggest point spread for a rematch against a team that won the first game.

likely impossible to happen. chiefs, bills, raven, Houston is the likely outcome for divisional round.  Only team that might be replaced at this point is Houston.

That is the point of read option

I know the point of the play. That is exactly why Jackson's play takes a back seat, because Henry is the real MVP of that team. It will go as he goes.

I don't really feel the Ravens are that inconsistent anymore... At least not Lamar & Henry.

At worst, kicking, defense & some odd coaching calls can screw them over, but Lamar & Henry are both playing like MVPs... I hate to say it, but I REALLY want to avoid playing them in the playoffs.

Houston has clinched their division. They are locked as the 4 seed. However the Steelers could end up as the 6 seed and upset the Ravens which would bring the Texans to Buffalo if both of them won.

Can't claim to know anything because I don't but I was amazed that Jackson lasted as long as he did his draft year. I had him in the top 10 along with the other top QBs. I didn't want him because after Tyrod I didn't want a running QB even though I knew he was going to be a better passer than Tyrod.

I wanted the wrong Josh. That's why I know that I don't know anything.

I agree completely. I want to avoid the Ravens in the AFC and the Eagles in the Superbowl

At this point the Ravens and Eagles have to be the favorites to meet in the Super Bowl.
