That narrative seems to be relegated to the fan community. I don't hear any national pundits qualify Lamar's year with Henry's contribution.

I’ve seen the national pundits say those two extra losses matter in addition to talking about Henry making things a little easier

he’s also indirectly stealing some Lamar tds/passing yards this game too…if Lamar absolutely went off I think he could get himself in range of Josh goin to the final week

LMAO.

The Bengals have an awful defense. The Bills would destroy the Bengals. I wish we could play them in the wildcard round.

Wish I had your confidence

Bengals wildcard is my disaster scenario

If the Bills can’t be the Bengals they have no shot to win anything.

Fortunately, they would crush the Bengals and I hope they get the chance to do so….but they probably won’t.

Bills need to lock up that 2nd seed before resting anyone.

I'd never give the starters two weeks off. At most, one.

I'd give Elam, Bishop and Ingram as many reps as possible.

I hate to say it, but it looks like it will be good for the Bills to win one more. They can probably manage a few selective rest games for banged-up starters who have competent backups, but I don't see them benching all the 1s until the #2 seed is safe. Josh is playing until then, too.

Hopefully the Jets are playing for their draft pick this weekend and we can earn a bye week for the starting lineup.

I'd play the starters this week and give the home crowd a win, then as somebody said earlier sit everybody next week

We have to play starters and win this week

You do know that this actually isn’t a thing right? The coaches and players aren’t playing to intentionally lose, that would be idiotic

barring a miracle, it's likely we face Baltimore home in the divisional round.

Get the win this week to lock it up and rest guys next week at NE.

This is how it will work so nobody is confused.

The starters will play this week and only be taken out if it’s a blowout at the end of the third quarter.
Then get next week off against the Pats.

Never ever do NFL teams have guys rest the week before the last game then have them play the last game before the playoffs. They always wait until the last week.

Unless you are in KC’s spot and can rest them for 2 weeks with no consequences. Most teams that rest starters for 2 weeks though lose in the playoffs so wouldn’t recommend it to any team. If the Chiefs want to do that they can be my guest and watch them get knocked off early.

With win today we can no longer win the 1 seed.  2 game lead over ravens, do we rest guys now or win this week and rest guys up for wild card weekend?

1 1/2 game lead... the head to head means we must win one of our last two.

I think Lamar is going to get the MVP too in addition to us losing out on the 1 seed. Just how things are going. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Do you have anything good to say about the Bills?

You don't exorcize your demons by running from them. I would rather we face Houston and Baltimore rather than hope we get a powderpuff. We've beaten the nfls best and shouldn't fear anyone

Why are some people saying we may face the Bengals in the first round?  The odds are very low that they make it in the playoffs.

Not only do they have to beat Denver and Pitt the next two weeks, they have to hope Denver loses to KC week 18 (KC will probably rest starters for at least a portion of the game), in addition to Indy and Miami losing 1 of their next 2.  Indy plays the Giants and Jax (probably the two worst teams in the league) and Miami plays Cleveland and the Jets.  I would be shocked if Cincy gets in.

The scaring part is they looked peaking again.

you have to assume with 24 days off, they will get everyone important healthy to start the playoff run.

Yep. I don't know why people even doubted the chiefs. It's the Same story every time

Like we do this every single year where everyone writes them off, and then they end up winning the SB.

Can anyone who writes off the chiefs cause they look bad for a stretch of games in the regular season finally learn their lesson.. lol.

They will always be the team to beat , until someone knocks them off in the playoffs
