KC Locked up 1st seed

With win today we can no longer win the 1 seed.  2 game lead over ravens, do we rest guys now or win this week and rest guys up for wild card weekend?

Broncos beat the Chiefs backups next week. And we get them in 2 weeks. That said, lock up the 2 seed by beating the Jets Sunday, play the entire PS week 18.

The Bills have their own things to consider, but so do the Chiefs. Do they give guys two weeks off with it now being a meaningless game next week?

you have to assume with 24 days off, they will get everyone important healthy to start the playoff run.

Bills have to get the Ravens at home if they meet up.  2 seed is huge but I suppose Houston could do us a big favor today.

I hate that f**king team so much...I would love nothing better than for the Bills to stroll into Arrowhead and slap the hell out of them in the AFCCG.

In the end, losses to Houston & Rams came back to haunt this team. Specifically, the Texans game.

That's a good point with the Bengals.  I'd still rather have the Ravens at home though in the second round.

Than Baltimore will get the two seed. And Allen's MVP chances are gone. 

 

There's no way in hell this team is resting anyone against the Jets if the two seed is still at play.

Yeah...that was so uncharacteristic for them...the Texans literally did everything possible to hand them the game and the Bills simply refused to take it time and time again.

Even if Baltimore loses, resting starters for two weeks would be disastrous imo. Because how many times do we see teams rest players and come out flat for the first playoff game?

Agreed. But the most likely outcome is another Heartbreaker. Can't take too many more of those.
