The guy has a visible gut and love handles now and his catches today are just free jogs into the secondary. How can this be the strategy in 2024? I get 5-years ago when he actually was size/speed combination, but now? Why do teams allow this? Teams are running coverages they’re used to running. If they call a cover three or cover two or whatever, it’s not like they’re breaking off a defender to focus on just Kelce. They’re running the normal look and KC can diagnose that and distribute fairly easily. Even in the playoffs it’s not like you saw many teams deviating far outside the normal playbook to account for him. If they did they would get beat elsewhere. It boils down to fundamental football and KC just executed better. Especially when it matters Ian Eagles kid sounds just like him Quote
Eastport bills Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago The Chiefs looked great against a team that is deadmen walking. TJ Watt is obviously hurt because he gets no pressure and is shaking his thumb all game. Pittsburgh secondary is worse than ours and Russell Wilson has no feel for the rush. They had a good season but they will not win anymore games. Pickens is a good receiver but could you imagine a head case like him on a week to week basis. Cam Heyward got hurt and Mike Tomlin had a terrible game. He missed a clear challenge on a dropped ball and basically threw in the towel in the 4th quarter. I guess having a winning season is the most imprtant thing for Mike. Quote

It is not some execution masterclass when you can’t identify #87 and have anyone close to him as he jogs. He's not breaking people off, there is no precision there. It’s jog 3-5 yards, or obvious tunnel screens, his touchdown he just jogs into the end zone untouched. I can see a play or two where he blocks, then leaks out late like a back, but that was pathetic today. 1 Quote

They look like they are going to lose to the Bengals next week which means they will finish the season losing 5 out of their last 7 games. Im sorry, that’s not a good team. Tomlin is a good coach but it seems he cannot cover up with for Wilson’s flaws anymore. Feels like they are definitely going to lose to cincy. Quote

Straight Hucklebuck Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Mahomes can’t eat that cake because he’s got to be in Playoff shape. Quote

He's lined up over the RT for years and has had quite a big of success. Teams actually figured out you can stop him with two blockers, wow lol. He's a blowhard crybaby. The way he & his brother bitched about him not getting DPOY was really irritating. Clearly, he's not a team guy. Quote
