bills6969 Posted Wednesday at 09:06 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:06 PM KC will prob bench their starters next week which means it’ll be over 3 weeks until their next meaningful game. I wonder how that time off will affect them? They probably won’t miss a beat but that is a long time off 2 Quote

You are right, that definitely sounds like a pretty good team. Geezus. There'd be a lot more room for actual football talk if we weren't constantly bombarded by nonsense As lead perpetrator the decision is ultimately yours 1 Quote

Now all we have to hang our hats on us they’re gonna rest starters and be rusty. Someone is going to have to go to arrowhead and beat them. And there’s only 2 more teams that will have a shot to do it. I hate that they always seem to get a cakewalk to the championship game. But they do because they’re a good team. Sucks that as soon as we started being great KC is always just a bit better.. and only one team gets the bye now. Quote

KC simply outclasses them especially with Mike tomlin’s 1995 approach to the game. Hopefully Pitt is the 6 seed and they go to Baltimore and frustrate Jackson pull the upset . They played today with Pickens and they scored less than their last two games. They look like they are going to lose to the Bengals next week which means they will finish the season losing 5 out of their last 7 games. Im sorry, that’s not a good team. Tomlin is a good coach but it seems he cannot cover up with for Wilson’s flaws anymore. 1 Quote

I would have said Detroit if their entire roster wasn’t on IR. And apparently everyone else can, but I can’t comment on the other team without that nutcase banning me from the board for a couple of days. Henry makes that team completely different. Flowers is a legit receiver and he gets miles open because of threat of Henry and Lamar. They also still have Andrews and another legit receiver I forgot the name of. In any case, that team is a legit threat. Especially with their defense starting to play well again. Quote

Wilson is washed and his line is pure trash, he has no time to throw down field, but when he does get time, he pats the ball and can’t make a decision. They would be better off with Fields again. 2 Quote

Straight Hucklebuck Posted Wednesday at 09:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:21 PM You watch these games with Kelce, and I just replay his catches, and it’s always the same thing - he gets a free release off the line, he jogs 4-5 yards, nobody goes with him and it’s just a free pass into the secondary. The guy has a visible gut and love handles now and his catches today are just free jogs into the secondary. How can this be the strategy in 2024? I get 5-years ago when he actually was size/speed combination, but now? Why do teams allow this? Quote

I disagree because the coaching mismatch is massive, and the Chiefs can stop the run which means Hurts will have to win the game and I don't trust him in that scenario. 1 Quote

I don’t disagree, I think the Eagles will go, fairly confident there. But sure, not ideal once it gets to that point. Quote

My mindset is we weren’t getting the one seed, I wanted the Steelers to win to hold off the Ravens Quote

He can read the zone defenses like a QB and camp out in the holes of the zone. He’s open before the snap. Quote

Yeah that’s nice, there isn’t any combination of zone/man defense that you can employ where you can try to cover him? You know it’s possible because this year has been career lows in numerous categories. Edited Wednesday at 09:28 PM by Straight Hucklebuck Quote
