That being said I agree that we shouldn't waste a lot of major resources trying to win on defense. Give Allen a ridiculous supporting cast and try steamrolling every team all the way to the Super Bowl.

 

Disagree.   You're contradicting yourself.   You say they are winning with defense and then later saying we shouldnt be wasting resources trying to win on defense. 

 

Take Chris Jones and the defense away from the Chiefs and they still win.   Take Mahomes off of the Chiefs, even with Reid coaching and you have a team who loses in the playoffs every year.
