3rd time this year I’ve seen the same foot get down twice and no catch. Never saw it before that I can remember.

 

Not sure why 2 taps with the same foot can’t equal a catch.

Is the rule “two feet down” or “both feet down”?  First time I’ve ever realized that makes a difference.

Interestingly he seemed to get the same foot down twice...

 

Theoretical question: a player catches the ball and hops on the same foot 3 times before going out of bounds.

I actually thought if he got the same foot down twice it was a catch. 

That does need to be changed. If one knee equals two feet, getting the same foot down twice should count too.

kind of dumb because it would have been physically impossible to get the other foot down when he had a leg between his.  plus the second foot was in bounds when the ball was caught

the problem is how do you count. In a foot slide/ toe drag you can have the jump 2-3 times and thrn technically be a cstch

 

a cortolary to this is if thr toe touches first thrn you place heal down out it’s not a foot down
