I was hearing Sal on the radio make some excuses that he was playing the "wrong position" I think the dude is toast though, he was always out of position, slow, and he is injury prone, honestly it's annoying how McDermott gave this guy so many chances to play

Sal made excuses for him? No way!

Guy should go back to construction or whatever he was doing before winning that fan contest for a roster spot.

We truthfully have 1 player in the back seven [Benford] who could be considered an "A" list talent, Average grade of our other 6 LB & DB starters is in the bottom 3rd of the league. Even Taron is in the bottom half of DB's this season.  The only thing we are really excelling in is turnover margin.

Spector isn’t slow, he’s pretty athletic. RAS was in the 8s IIRC. His problem, aside from lack of starting potential, is his availability. Guy always gets hurt when he plays, without fail. He even got hurt against PIT in the playoffs last year which got Klein out of the RV. Have to move on from a guy like that.

EDIT: my fault, I was off a point. His RAS score is a 9.13 with lack of size his biggest detriment.

His performance this year was not good. But he could always get better over the next 9 months. I could see him making the roster in a similar backup role or being displaced by someone better. He should be motivated this offseason.

I hope not...it shouldn't be that hard to find someone to take his place with the way the Bills have successfully drafted mid round LBs that turned out to be quality players

He’s dirt cheap, has time in the system on defense, and plays special teams. Hopefully he’s the third string MLB but I’d be surprised if he’s not on the roster next year.

He’ll be here through training camp but I expect Ulofoshio and Andreessen to push him next year and I expect another mid round LB to be drafted.

I think a guy like Jackson Woodard from UNLV on day 3 would be a great get. Fits their player and character profile. Reminds me a bit of a young Milano . Better run player than pass player but has improved and would be an immediate upgrade to our backups and a STs guy

I think PFF graded him as a 22 or something.

Linebackers need to be improved.

Milano obviously might never return to form, which leaves a gaping hole at the heart of the D.

I'm starting to feel Milano might be done, at least from an elite perspective. Looks slow and tentative. And now it really looks like the injuries are far more frequent. Hope I'm wrong but it kinda looks like it.
