As the late, great Toby Keith once said “I ain’t as good as I once was, but I’m good once, as I ever was”. That is all I ask at this point.

Make a play that matters. I still believe he can.

I loved the video of that song!!

He's a Process Guy!

Yeah, he’s in the process of making a ton of money for doing very little.

he’s slow, can’t turn the edge, and completely dogs it when he is slightly out of the play.

yes, yes, and yes.  Exactly as I see his play. It's not as if he's an every down player where he just needs a breather. He's done.

This is all wrong. They forgot the greatest Bills player and his rating yesterday:

Kaiir Elam - HOF (no number can quantify)

I almost went into shock when he actually made a spin move yesterday.  It worked for at least a pressure anyway.  I hadn't thought about the obvious point someone brought up about not being able to bend with the lingering effects of his knee injury.  That's a major issue.

Gassed?

if he gets gassed playing the amount he does, then another reason he shouldn’t be on the field.

Dude,

he blows.

quick pressure means nothing.

Results are what matters.

don’t confuse a minuscule bit of effort with results.

not just minuscule effort, but minuscule ability / agility at this point.

stick a fork in him, he’s done.

We get it  already, how many ways/times you going to blast him?

He had quick pressure on several plays yesterday...seems like you have decided what you want to see and nothing will change your mind from seeing it.

He led the team with 6 pass pressures.

Don't bother, facts don't matter to these people.

Apparently a 30% pass pressure rate isn't a good game lol

Does that extend to RBs that have to come out after one or two carries? Or WRs that come out for a break after a 10 yard gain?

If you watch football you may notice this occurs quite frequently with Bills players and many other players.  Should they not be on the field either?

I get it you don't like Von. But he is human. Every play is like putting their body through a mini car wreck. There is no DL in the NFL that goes 100% every snap they are in. Even the TJ Watts of the world.

Also, quick pressure means a lot. Many times it causes the QB to have to get rid of the ball early and a WR not complete his timing route. It's directly responsible for winning a down.

And with QBs that are so good at throwing out of a sack these days, quick pressure is the most effective way to influence a play.

There's more to football than the box score.

I guess I'm not the only one then...

Really…PFF??  The same stat computation that frequently rates Josh as one of the worst QBs on the league?  Come on dude, you’re better than that.

That would require him to turn. He can’t.

Exactly. He doesn’t have that explosive lateral movement anymore to finish once he beats the OT.

I don’t think he’s mentally sharp anymore either. He gave up contained on a play and that was something that would never happen to him.

I’m not a fan of rotation on the DL.

Von Miller had an 80+ pff grade and 6 pressures...

He had multiple pressures where he completely blew by the tackle.

And,

is that good or bad??

if he blew by the tackle, then I’m assuming he was out of the play.

He didn't dominate. Was one of his better games though. He had some pressure. I still think he is washed.

I agree with your assessment of his play yesterday, but I think we are just seeing him rounding into form. Form. Yesterday was his best game of the season. He had a nice spin move and some good pressures. I think the best is yet to come.
