bmur66 Posted Monday at 05:41 PM Posted Monday at 05:41 PM I just hope Von Millionaire delivers in the playoffs. That is what he is here for. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted Monday at 05:42 PM Posted Monday at 05:42 PM He does nothing but speed rush now . He used to counter it with a devastating spin move but he doesn’t do it anymore. He did get close a couple of times yesterday but Maye got it off quick . I suspect the Bills will move on and hopefully Solomon can fill that 3rd down pass rush role next year Quote

He has also used multiple power rushes. 1 minute ago, bmur66 said: I just hope Von Millionaire delivers in the playoffs. That is what he is here for. He will. And I knew he was going to get flak for not running it down harder, but he already had the 1st down, was not going any further and there was no point popping a hamstring or hammering a teammate for no reason late in a game they were completely in control of. Miller looked better yesterday than he has in two years and if you couldn't see that, it's on you. NE eventually started throwing RB's at him because he was tearing up that OT all night long. Folks can hate on him because he got hurt, but it says more about them than him. Like it or not, I think he's going to create problems for opposing offenses in the playoffs. Not the first game that opponents have had a back helping on him. if he does get doubled... where is the rest of the pass rush? Sad... Quote

Just a guy. He was close to making a good play a few times, but just seemed a step or two behind. That said, if he can find a way to recapture his former self when it really matters, and make a play or two in the playoffs that help us win games, I will consider his season successful. That is of course, a very big IF. Those type of players usually find something extra in the playoffs when it counts...look at what Kelce did last year after looking mostly pedestrian during the season. 1 1 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted Monday at 05:46 PM Posted Monday at 05:46 PM The truth is somewhere in the middle. I think he will make an impact in the playoffs. 1 Quote

thenorthremembers Posted Monday at 05:50 PM Posted Monday at 05:50 PM He had some decent pass rush moves yesterday but he wasnt exactly impacting Maye. He was also brutal crashing inside on the read option. Not ready to give a guy his flowers when he has 6 tackles and 4 sacks all season. I continue to think he is one of the worst free agent signings for the Bills all time. Quote

Exactly. Miller is here to make big plays in big moments. He hasn’t shown anything yet this season to indicate that he will, but I know it is in there. I just hope he can find it when called upon. 1 Quote

Ppl want prime 20 sack von Miller. That was never the point of the signing. 21 playoffs with the rams or even close to that is what we need. He was signed similar to Reggie White and the Packers for the playoffs. I don't get it. Yes 23 he was obviously not ready. It's nobody's fault that happened. Just now, buffaloboyinATL said: Exactly. Beast Posted Monday at 05:54 PM Posted Monday at 05:54 PM Smoot and Solomon should see the field before Miller and hopefully will when the playoffs start. It’s not about appeasing egos…it’s about winning a Super Bowl. 1 Quote

PonyBoy Posted Monday at 05:56 PM Posted Monday at 05:56 PM I was mad when he wouldn't raise his arms to try to block passes when he got close, but no sack. That's effort, nothing to do with the knee. Quote
