I say rest them. We all saw what could happen in a single game when we played the lions. Imagine taking some major injuries how dumb it would seem in a game they never had to play. Just my opinion. I would play them for a quarter each of the next 2 games.

If either getting the #1 seed or the threat of losing the #2 seed is a possibility in week 18, the starters need to play. Otherwise, they get the week off.

I would definitely play them this week, with a quick hook for Allen when the game seems in hand. For the last game I would rest our main Dline guys for the whole thing and let Josh have one series to stay loose.

I agree. Is it worth the risk? I don’t think so. You could make a case for the starters to play a series or at max one quarter but that is really pushing it.
