They are hardly the least injured team on a game to game basis lol they have the least long term injuries though sure

There is an unrealistic expectation that all players should be healthy every week, that simply never happens for any team.  They are in extremely good shape with all players still on the active roster that started there, except Milano in for Toohill.   IMO Fans get way too emotional when guys get banged up.

We constantly overestimate the impact of injuries on us vs other teams. It's just what we do. It's a nice way to justify why things did or didn't happen how we expected and it always works because the actual impacts can't fully be measured and nobody has the time to research the context with other teams.

I literally don’t think it’s humanly possible to overestimate how bad baylon Spector is and how often teams single him out when he’s on the field lol like that’s a nice canned response for the vast majority of injuries for any given team but it doesn’t fit here at all imo.

I watch a lot of football and I have not seen a player get significant snaps that’s anywhere near as bad as him.

A lot of this seems like we’re doing it proactively because we know we can’t afford any linebacker or safety injuries for the playoffs..  there’s just no way he’d be playing otherwise.  I’m sure rapp would be out there if it was playoff time too

Did you value the Lions win? It was basically against a 2nd team defense. Same with the 49ers. But we really don't talk about those things. We only talk about when it impacts us. When the reality is we aren't even that banged up compared to other teams. I doubt we have been historically but the idea has been allowed to build for so long now. It's just what our fans go to. Yesterday I remember in the game day thread a guy saying the defense sucks and then another guy saying, well, we have 4 starters out! It's almost January. Who doesn't have 4 starters out?

Again, this forum needs an aptitude test of at LEAST a SMALL showing of a cursory knowledge of football.

or cornerback injuries for that matter, and Taron took another ding yesterday and Douglas has missed 2 games.

Bills issue as always is having the same position groups injured at the same time or having to go down to their 4th/5th/6th string at a certain position.

Yesterday they have 4 DB's out again and have Spector and Andreeson playing a lot of minutes.

Idk who we is haha I definitely talk about those things.  The lions bills game was a shootout where both teams were targeting guys that shouldn’t be on an nfl football field.  my entire point is the offense has to carry you when you’ve got easily exploitable guys on defense forced onto the field and the lions are a perfect example of that.

Hell the 13 seconds game was the same..mathieu went down and we straight up abused Daniel Sorensen and the chiefs picked on Dane Jackson a ton.  That’s just one injury on your bar graph but it was massively consequential

i think you’re mixing up the total number of injuries with impact.  We can be missing more guys but if the injuries fell a little differently we’d be in better shape than we are now. Safety and linebacker are the two spots we absolutely could not afford multiple injuries and that’s exactly where virtually all the injuries went. If you’re arguing we don’t actually have many total injuries it makes it even more unlucky not less.  If there were more injuries spread out among multiple position groups we’d be much better off

Andreesson played exactly one snap on defense

Spector played less than 40% defensive snaps

Spector played the really bad 40% of the snaps, got injured, and forced Williams in who it seems like we were hoping to bubble wrap for the playoffs and the game immediately turned around in our favor

if Spector played 0% of the snaps idk if the pats hit double digits…the guy is truly awful.  He plays like he was scientifically engineered to be used as a retort to the ‘every team has injuries’ argument 😂
