Whether you know it or not, he’s our best defensive player when healthy. He’s not resting, he’s injured. We also need him for the playoffs. I don’t care if Williams plays for now if he’s healthy, but it was apparent, Spector is suited as the backup Mic LB, but not the Wil. That requires more coverage in space. That’s Milano’s Best asset. His brain. When we are facing the Broncos, or Chargers, then the Ravens or Steelers, we’ll need all of our best players. Lastly, let me remind people Milano is a 1st team all pro. That’s an honor. Pro bowls and Top 100 are popularity contests. MVP, 1st team all pros, OPOY, DPOY, and the ROY are all given to the best players by people who know football and vote. Sunday’s game went as I expected. The same should happen the next two weeks. They’ll play the starters who can start, and in the 2nd half start pulling them so they are good for the playoffs. Well know Wed. After the Chiefs game if they lose whether we go for it in week 18. Let me remind you, he WAS an All-Pro, as was Tre White, injuries are a B word and he’s a shell of himself. He’s best suited as Williams’ back up at this point. Quote

As far as resting starters, we’ll know if we’re going for it for the next 2 weeks by We’d. Night when the Chiefs game wins or loses to the Steelers. TheFunPolice Posted Monday at 10:45 PM Posted Monday at 10:45 PM At this point we're not getting the #1 seed so rest everyone and get to the playoffs at full strength. Quote

Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago This is BS strategy in my opinion. you can’t have the coaching staff telling the players we are holding back on play calling strategy and expect the players to be locked in and playing at their highest level. then I guess we hope they flip a switch in the wild card round? Just hope it’s not Cincinnati coming to Orchard Park. Even if it is not Cincinnati, we’re looking at playing a team that’s been playing for their playoff lives for several weeks versus the bills who have been sleepwalking for three straight games. 19 hours ago, TheFunPolice said: At this point we're not getting the #1 seed so rest everyone and get to the playoffs at full strength. let’s let tomorrow’s game pass before we make that declaration. The Steelers need to win even more than the Chiefs and the games in Pittsburgh. then week 18 is likely a win or go home game for the Broncos hosting the Chiefs. Quote

The Bills were playing for their playoff lives for like 6 straight weeks last year and entered the playoffs worn out and banged up. Especially on defense it really caught up to them in the divisional round, and even large parts of the wildcard game were ugly. It's easy for a healthy and well rested team to turn it back on when they enter a sudden death game. Much harder for a team that's been running on fumes to keep the gas pedal down. I expect the next two weeks to look somewhat bumpy as a bored and conservative Bills team faces squads with nothing to lose and playing for pride, but it won't mean anything and it won't concern me. I know what this team is and what they're able to accomplish if they stay healthy. Edited 13 hours ago by HappyDays 1 1 Quote

A lot hinges on the Chiefs game tomorrow, IMO-- both for the Jets, as well as us. If the Chiefs win, and secure the #1 seed, we're going to be focused on keeping guys healthy. I also think that if the Chiefs lose, and Rodgers sees that we're still fighting for the #1 seed, that knee injury of his is going to start throbbing, and he'll be on the sideline in a baseball cap.
