Einstein Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago He is the competition for the AFC East throne going forward. 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I think he will be a solid NFL QB. They lack pretty much everything else besides secondary players. I think they will be the next team to challenge the Bills for the division but it will be in a couple of years. I wasn't as high on Maye as many others and compared him to Darnold but Darnold aint been so bad this year for the Vikings lol. 1 Quote
peterpan Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago He looked like an excellent rookie. He could become quite good. 2 Quote
SF Bills Fan Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I thought Maye played well. He could end up being pretty good for the Pats and that’s a big piece step for them in returning to respectability. 1 Quote
transient Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago He looked like he could be the 2nd best QB in the AFCE. 2 Quote
Estro Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I liked him a lot. Good size, fairly accurate and good escapability and ability to throw from different platforms. I think he's going to be a guy. Showed some serious toughness too 1 Quote
buffaloboyinATL Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago He made me wish they still had Mac Jones. They will become a much tougher out over the next couple of seasons. 1 Quote
BuffaloRebound Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago A lot to work with but seems a bit mechanical. For a guy who makes some big mistakes, you’d like to see some more big plays. 1 Quote
buffblue Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago He shows a lot of signs of being a very good quarterback. I'd rather be in New England's position than the Jets or Dolphins, that's for sure 1 Quote

His throw to Boutte was probably one of the best throws of the season from any QB. But outside of that 1st drive - he was just kind of okay. Threw a bad pick in the EZ, and then shouldn't have thrown that backwards pass to the RB. Still not really seeing it - but curious what the rest of you think. I judge young QBs by what they do well as opposed to the mistakes they make. Maye does some things you can’t teach. It’s up to the coaching staff to teach them how to make the right decisions. Maye made a ton of mistakes today, but he was a rookie playing in an extremely difficult environment against an elite team. He’s got subpar talent at basically every single offensive position, and his coach is clearly developmentally disabled. I was impressed with him. 2 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago If they solidify the o line and get some offensive weapons, Drake Maye will be a pain in the ass for us. 1 Quote
Draconator Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Wasn't the talk similar to this after McCorkey's first season? Showed some brilliance, he'll be a problem. Maye can be solid, but the jury is still out. 1 Quote
Beast Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I think the kid looked outstanding. His offensive line sucks, he was under duress from beginning to end and his weapons are as bad as you will find. Yet he still had a decent game. 1 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago He'll be the 2nd best qb in our division for the next few years. He's got big upside. 1 Quote
co_springs_billsfan Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I'll feel better if he throws 4 picks in two weeks 1 Quote

Slack_in_MA Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago He’s looking pretty comfortable and poised even on a sub-par team with a crappy O line. I think he’s going to be pretty good. 1 Quote
