The bills defence made some big plays when they needed to today, but...

Bobby Babich is a big problem in my opinion.

It's not all his fault as the pass rush is still bad. But It almost seems like he is guessing a lot of times and the opposing OC usually is a step ahead.

I know it's a bit bold but if I am McDermott, I've seen enough and I'm taking the play calls from him the rest of the year.

What do you guys think?

Might be an unpopular opinion so feel free to roast away if you want, but I definitely feel strongly about this

It's not an X's and O's issue.  It's the jimmy and the joe's.

They need to turn over every leaf this offseason to be more physical up front on defense next year.

Theres no doubt the D line sucks and I agree with that. But Babich is still very lost calling plays IMO and doesn't have a good feel for what offences want to do

No- My point is the bills were fully healthy against the rams and still let up 44 points

You’re right I thought we were down Rapp in that game - I knew Milano was still in pre season mode.

Stafford just played a perfect game.

Reality is we absolutely do not have a “closer” on the D line is an issue.

No.

We were MISSING 4 STARTERS

That’s not an excuse…it’s about average in the NFL at this point in the season.  Pats were missing just as many.

I think it's definitely both and not saying it's all Babichs fault.

But jeez, OCs seem to be taking his lunch money week after week.

If you disagree all good, as I get it's probably an unpopular opinion and he's a likeable guy

I agree…..he still has no idea how to defend a screen pass! We get killed week after week by the screen!

I don’t care what we do with him, I was so excited for someone other than McDermott or Leslie Fraizer to be in charge of the defense. This guy is worse than they were. This 3rd down defense is a disgrace. You can fire him tomorrow morning for all I care. The only thing about this team that is reliable is the offense. New year, same story. We have good players on the defense. This soft shell ***** passive zone is a waste of ***** time. Hire a real DC

I didn't love it tonight. The 3rd down thing is an issue. Bend and don't brake when younare keeping opponents to mid 30% 3rd down conversion as under McD and Frazier is one thing. When youbare allowing mid 40s as we are under Babich its another.

He needs to get better.
