Classic Mcd team against bad teams. This is why he is hard to fathom winning a Lombardi. They always tend to let down along the way , while KC Looks like they are improving. Merry Christmas tho. Not good for one’s mental health to ever question things after a win , even tho we’ve never won the one a coach is hired to win! lol. Lol I still don’t understand how we’re always in the top of the point differential and have more double digit wins than anybody if it’s a mcd-specific thing that we play bad against bad teams 😂. this is one mcd criticism that I’m gonna say is flat out wrong. If anything we are one of if not the most consistent team in the league against lesser opponents. Of course we can go down the road of ‘what does how you play against teams like that matter’ in response and that’s a fair point but you can rest easy if your only concern is how we play against bad teams lol these ‘down to the level of your opponents’ games are happening to other teams more often than us but nobody here pays attention Edited 6 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 3 Quote

The other? We are spoilt. There’s not an expectation during those drought years to win. That was just an added bonus. The drought years were enjoyable. These years with Josh are as much memorable as they are enjoyable. Big difference to me at least. 1 Quote

Think about falling behind Arizona 17 - 3 in the 2nd quarter and Tennessee 10 - 0 in the 2nd quarter. We went on to blow the Titans out 34 -10 though. 1 Quote

Make it make sense Did Allen hurt his hand or his elbow? Postgame he said hit in the elbow again and hand went numb for 15-20 minutes. Said he has no pain now. Unless we’re not believing that. He threw it 50-yards to the end zone no problem so is the shoulder hurt? Quote

But like Wilson from Home Improvement. I’ve heard and looked over the fence long enough to understand the disappointment enough to get it. We’ve all caught ourself being unhappy with something out of the 16 and now 17 games in a season. That part is accentuated when you’ve got a generational talent that might not get himself, the team and the fan base whats played and watched for during a season 1 Quote

Big difference to me at least. Some of the specific points people are making are nonsensical but I get what you’re saying overall haha. I think a lot of people don’t watch a lot of other teams play consistently so they think some of this negative stuff is unique to the bills when it very much isn’t. bad teams go down swinging a lot more often than most here are insinuating for one current example. The insane run we had of double digit wins definitely spoiled people. This whole ‘how can a game come down to an onside kick/ td with little to no time left’ thing I’ve been hearing recently is hilarious 😂. Any game with a required late onside kick is not particularly close 1 Quote

I’m not disputing that it happens at all, it just happens to other teams more. A lot of people on this board have just lost the context because they don’t follow what other teams are doing. The chiefs won just about every game like this. The lions a few weeks before we played them got taken down to the wire by the bears. It’s incredibly common at this level of football Edited 6 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 1 Quote

What was new today IMO was that as poorly as they played we won the game. Think last years NE game or the 2022 Jets game or the infamous Jacksonville game where a crappy performance resulted in heartbreaking and completely inexplicable losses. This like much of what we're seeing this season is something different and in a good way. Edited 6 hours ago by CincyBillsFan 1 1 Quote

I can’t figure out this officiating sh*t at all…like the dpis late sure that could go either way depending on the ref but it seems like just when we’re about to put away a game there’s a few straight up phantom ol holds and a blown false start out of nowhere 😂. It’s really strange. They don’t pull that stuff on kc 3 Quote

There were a couple phantom calls in both games that kept opponents in the game and no they don't do that to KC. 1 Quote
billsfan89 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Honestly, it wasn't that bad. Yes the Bills got punched in the mouth to start the game down 14-0 but after the Bills cut the lead to 14-7 at the half (with the ball to start the second half) it never felt like the Bills weren't gonna come away with the game. Bills were up two possessions until the final minutes of the game and all they needed to do was recover an onsides kick and get a first down to end the game both of which they did and neither was a tall task. It can’t be that McD feasts on bad opponents while also playing down to them. Which one is it ? Quote

Hell on the endlessly flag extended TD they tried to give them a TD early until they reviewed it and not try again. Quote
