Success Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I hate being the spoiled guy who thinks the win was too ugly. But man - I just wish we'd have better games against the Patriots in general. It seems like we have some of our worst games against that team. After the Brady years, I was definitely hoping for more. It was a moral victory for them - which doesn't mean much in the scheme of things, but it's annoying nonetheless. Quote

transplantbillsfan Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Let's not turn into the Pats fans of the Brady/Belicheck era. We won a divisional game and in the 4th quarter Buffalo had the game inland. I repeat... We won!!!! Quote

I just don't think we take those games as seriously as the Jets and Dolphins and they certainly do. We seemed to handle them better post Brady when they were actually competitive. Quote
L Ron Burgundy Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Do we play down to competition? Do we mostly use a vanilla playbook or try out newer plays? Man, Pats suck and we could easily have lost tonight. Offense plays like this in the playoffs and we lose 100%. I know D stepped up a bit but it just feels like they are weak and getting another team to punt only happens when the opposing offense screws up. Definitely concerning. I have observed you observing Jay Skurski observing McDermott a lot over multiple years, utilizing multiple disguises while you showed off your collection of binoculars. Speaking nothing of my own mannerisms or intentions, I can confirm that your behavior is rather creepy, which was probably why Jay Skurski was in fact "irritable," or what non-sociopaths might call "weirded out." 2 Quote
BillsfaninSB Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago It’s happened a lot the past several years. When the Bills are a big favorite they tend to sputter. Hopefully this is a wake up call without the L. Quote
loveorhatembillsfan4life Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago It’s kind of the same tune :. Line of Scrimmage. He knows when it’s getting handed to us. Happened against the Rams and the Dline got called out for it. Following week in Detroit, Oliver was a menace. This week for at least a half just going through the motions? How many games do we hear about the Bills going up against an inferior Oline with a bunch of backups only to get their butts handed to them. This what scares me about Baltimore. The plan should be to run all over us, win the time of possession and limit the times Josh actually sees the field. 1 Quote

Yeah, hadn't really paid attention to him before, but unfortunately Maye looked pretty composed and decent, for a rookie. Edited 5 hours ago by Thurman#1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The 1st Quarter sucked because the Defense could only get off the field after giving up a TD. The final score didn't suck. Quote
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I always hate a win, especially a division win. this place can be and is a joke, especially after a win... 2 1 Quote

When the Bills are a big favorite they tend to win big, but it is true that a few times that does not happen and they don't play to expectations. On the other hand, division games are often tougher than they look to be on the surface, and that's true around the league, not just in Western NY. 1 Quote

When you have arguably the best QB in the league and can't get out of the divisional round due to defense and coaching the leash for tolerance is short. Exactly. The Chiefs get a pass for their close wins because they have sleepwalked through the regular season before, and still somehow manage to almost always get the #1 seed anyway. Their fans are confident, because their team always turns it on in the postseason, regardless of how mediocre they looked up until that point. With the Mahomes/Reid combo, they have yet to miss making at least the AFC Championship game. Contrast that with the Bills, who are always running 1-2 steps behind their rivals. Just enough losses to keep them from getting a bye. Watching their defense collapse at the most important time of the year. Outside of that one Patriots game, the postseason is an absolute grind for us. Getting to the AFC Championship seems like an enormous mountain to climb. Much less getting to the Super Bowl and actually winning it. 1 1 1 Quote
Casey D Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago To the surprise of all, turns out the Bills are human beings too. After two amazing road games on the road, the team came back to earth and played a mediocre game against a mundane team. I mean after all the fanfare and drama of the Lions game, how could most anyone get up for a game against a 3-11 Pats team on a cold cold night. So they did not have their A game-- but they won with their C game. That I submit, is the mark of a champion, not a sign of weakness. That is why KC remains so formidable as they win when they should not. If the Bills are developing that DNA, then we have a chance to topple KC. So, I view yesterday as an overall positive and a sign of growth. Happy Holidays!!! 2 2 Quote

Then I saw him once again never turn to find the ball, just raise his arms up , face guard , and run right thru the receiver. Not just once but he had to do it twice ! That is one hard headed cb who after 3 years , just refuses to improve or do the right technique. Must be maddening for coaches ; I mean I taught my dachshund puppy to ring a bell to go outside to pee, and 10 years later , still never had an accident , or PI ( peeing inside!). So either my dachshund is smart enough to learn the Bills scheme,,,or Elam could not be trusted to be left alone at home without a doggie pad down! Unbelievable!😳😊✌️. Merry Christmas. Go Bills ! Can we bring your Dachshund in to play CB on a vet minimum deal? Quote

Remember she also signaled that the Pat runner was down on his fumble and she signaled the TD on the play that was ruled incomplete. If I say any more I'll get put in Time Out and I like posting after the game so I will zip it. Exactly. UNQUALIFIED. 1 Quote
