We need to get healthier, and for guys like Oliver and Rousseau to step up more than one out of every 3-4 games.

Or maybe Oliver and Rousseau are who they are,

Explain when that was. You weren’t trading him his first year, and he wasn’t worth much after that. And saying to trade him for a 6th or 7th does not constitute trade value

I know you’re right,,,,but omg, dude is headed to being cut asap.  He can’t turn his head.  Maybe. Reds a neurosurgeon to check his neck for any ability to rotate!  Like I wrote earlier, my dachshund puppy learned to ring a bell hanging from the doorknob to go outside to pee.  Ten years later and no accidents or PI ( peeing inside) from my dachshund!  Elam can’t be taught to turn his head after three years,,, wouldn’t trust him hiding the bowl or leave him alone at home without a puppy pad!   lol,,man the coaches and Beane must bang their heads against walls watching that level of incompetence for 3 years!  Today was awful, he just puts his arms up and runs through the receiver!  Must be maddening!  ✌️😊

Not worried about the game in general. Chiefs have won enough games like this this year (Raiders game in particular).  I am worried about how bad the defense looked in the first quarter.  Offense is going to be back pretty much intact next year (other than maybe Cooper and Ty Johnson.  Sorry to say but any FA’s and the high draft picks are all going to go to defense.

It was an overall terrible week of football for Bills fans.

In terms of our Super Bowl chances:

- The Chiefs pretty much locked up the #1 seed in the AFC.  No way they lose the last two games.

- The Ravens are going to overtake the Steelers in the North.  Which means the Chiefs also avoid them in the Divisional Round.

- The Bengals are a step closer towards that final playoff seed.  Looking at the schedule, this one almost looks inevitable.

This defense has been WELL below average most of the season, and has only gotten worse down the stretch.  So much for a rebound against a terrible opponent and rookie quarterback.  This unit will once again destroy our chances in the playoffs.  No way they survive a postseason gauntlet of Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs, Lions/Eagles.  Josh Allen will need to will this offense to 45-50 points every single game.

And just for the cherry on top, Allen probably just killed his MVP chances with a terrible game... while injuring his throwing arm/elbow/hand.

Not sure what we did to get a lump of coal in our stockings.  But yuck.

Have to agree, Maye was really good, nothing you can do when everyone misses their block, but he did well under the pressure.  He made the D look bad and that’s not great for this year or going forward having to deal with him.

Maye is going to be a good QB and hence within a few years the Patriots will be competition within the division most likely.

That game was miserable to watch.

- Refs willed NE into the endzone multiple times.

- Allen hurts his throwing hand

- Shakir forgot how to catch

- Our special teams sucks at EVERYTHING. They are bad at kickoff coverage, they can’t down a punt inside the five, and they nearly give up an onside kick for the second week in a row.

- Every time we blitzed Maye, he folded like a cheap tent. He clearly could not handle the pressure. So what does Babich do in key moments? He rushes 4 and drops everyone back into a shell. WHY!? For fug sake, WHY? Make it make sense

Maye couldn’t handle the pressure? For a rookie with a terrible offensive line and even worse weapons, the kid performed amazing. He will be a force in years to come.

How do the Bengals look "inevitable" when their last two games are against the Broncos and Steelers?

My God man..take a step back off the ledge. Out of the 8 things you posted maybe 2 are very likely to happen. Chiefs with the #1 seed being one of them.

Allen's MVP odds went from -900 to -750...wow, what a way to "ruin" your chances.

I thought he did a really good job most of the game delivering the ball under pressure.

They blitzed more than I thought they would but there's a limit to how many times it's smart when your missing Rasul Douglas, Taron Johnson, Matt Milano and both starting safeties.

I was impressed with Maye. I think he is our greatest competition division-wise going forward. But he still did the rookie thing at times and got jittery with 7 pass rushers coming at him.

I also thought about you when I keyed in on Elam. Kid played pretty good overall. You said at the beginning of the season that you weren’t giving up on him yet and I thought you were a little too hopeful - I was wrong.

He was something like 2/6 passing (last I checked) when we blitzed. He did well under pressure when we only sent 4. But during actual overloads? He crapped his pants. Like rookies do.

He actually mentioned after the game that he needs to get better against the blitz.

He's going to catch 100x more flak than he deserves for today.

And he's probably going to be really pissed at himself for his performance.

But I agree he was really not bad out there today. He got caught in a couple bad situations under the spotlight that are going to make his day look much worse than it actually was.

Because the Bengals are much better than their record.  And the Steelers/Broncos are huge frauds.

Chiefs win #1 seed.

Ravens win AFC North.

Bengals make the playoffs.

We have to go through all three to make the Super Bowl.

NFC representative is either Lions or Eagles.

I don't think any of those predictions is unreasonable.

Given the way they're playing now, that would put both firmly on the downside of their careers because we've seen them play better for extended stretches.

The Bengals have the lowest chance of any of the teams "in the hunt" to make the playoffs. Colts 13%, Dolphins 9%, Bengals 8%.

I think you probably need to do a reality check.

Elam was definitely a problem. He had no awareness. He grabbed, clutched, and ran into WR. Time to move on from him.

I don’t think I could disagree more.

I am more hopeful about Elam after the last two games than I have *ever* been.

The mistakes he made today are fixable mistakes. They’re mistakes that come from NOT PLAYING ENOUGH. They are mistakes that can be resolved by being on the field more.

But he was lockstep with their receivers for a lot of the game. The first TD was just a perfect throw and catch. There is not a cornerback in the league that was stopping that.

I want the kid to play more.
