Seemed a bit surprising they were holding up in man at times for 6+ seconds Quote
thenorthremembers Posted yesterday at 12:51 AM Posted yesterday at 12:51 AM Just get to the playoffs. Hard for a team who has very little to play for to get up to play terrible teams. Quote
Success Posted yesterday at 12:51 AM Posted yesterday at 12:51 AM I feel like they don't understand how important Patriots games are to many in the fanbase. A very annoying game. Quote

Have had some crud loses late season and playoffs that they should be ready and hungry now. I think honestly they are just average up front on defense and when the other team is in 12 Personnel with a mobile cornerback and you stay in nickel defense, it' a tough ask. The bills are built to stop the pass and they just played their third straight game against teams that went and played big in the run game. in the end they got two takeaways and won the game when new england had to pass. Not much different than the cardinals, dolphins, titans home games. Quote

Yeah...it wasn't pretty but they came back down 14, ripped off 24 straight points and then closed it out after letting the Patriots get a little closer thanks to the refs. 1 Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM (edited) The refs were horrendous the coaching was horrendous the defense is terrible we won. That’s really all that matters but yeah that didn’t make you feel good. Very proud of them for fighting back and getting it done. Not building a dome is dumb. It’s not anything that should ever need to be explained but any time you mention it, it’s a laundry list of BS excuses. We are not great in inclement weather. It’s been clear for a while now. This defense needs to be fixed. I want babich demoted or at least off of play calling. The issue is McDermott isn’t much better. We will never win a Super Bowl with the defense only surviving off or turnovers. It needs to be fixed. Not in the off-season. This week Edited yesterday at 12:53 AM by Brianmoorman4jesus Quote
MJS Posted yesterday at 12:53 AM Posted yesterday at 12:53 AM Dude, they blitzed him so many times on key downs and he completed many throws like that. 1 Quote
Lionel Hutz Posted yesterday at 12:53 AM Posted yesterday at 12:53 AM (edited) The last few weeks prove that this team is not a legit contender. Bills try the same thing every season under McDermott and expect different results. It’s mind boggling how he is considered a defensive genius. Edited yesterday at 12:53 AM by Lionel Hutz 1 1 Quote

Refs today constantly made horrible calls against us They definitely took New England +14.5. They locked that up very early. Quote

This was about the line of scrimmage and buffalo getting pushed around in the first half. Once they took the lead that ended much like the rest of the year Quote

billsfan_34 Posted yesterday at 12:55 AM Posted yesterday at 12:55 AM - I clearly see why Elam has been scratched over and over in the past. He was awful again. - Von cannot turn the corner anymore and after running for 2 seconds he is gassed. - Tough to play in frigid temps. The ball is hard as a rock hence the drops, fumbles etc… - Bass made all extra points and his only FG attempt - 2 false starts on Brown - every darn week - Cole Bishop isn’t ready yet- this is evident but he will be ok - Just too many injuries on the defensive side of the ball. We have to get healthy and fast Go Bills Quote

We can't expect to score 30 points every game and be flawless on offense and defense. We have been so good offensively lately that I get that is the expectation but Mayo played incredibly soft and the Bills really should have gotten in there and ran the ball. Plus you can tell that Josh Allen felt this was a game that he shouldn't take off and run to make plays when there was nothing there and he still ended up getting a funny bone or whatever it is. The defense struggled in the first half and the offense struggled all game but the end result is we won. Was it pretty? No...Should you be happy we barely beat a 3-12 football team ? No but we did win the football game and all that matters is the W in the column. This was a 3-12 team we should have blown out. Like Baltimore, Houston and the Rams, we came out totally flat and this was after defeating the Lions. Divisional opponent or not, this was a game the Bills should have ended by the 3rd quarter. Babich having our corners play back too far and wondering why our pass rush couldn't get to Maye. I hate this garbage bend but don't break and I don't understand why Babich and McDermott stick with it. We can't rely on turnovers every game if the Rams were any indication. 1 Quote
